Svelte Framework Popularity & Development in 2023

The Svelte framework is a new way to develop websites and apps. It’s lightweight and easy to use, making it perfect for those who want to create fast and responsive web applications.

Introduction to Svelte Framework

Svelte is a component framework that compiles your components at build step (using Rollup) into highly efficient imperative code that updates the DOM. It’s the equivalent of React or Vue, but with much smaller resulting bundles. It was created by Rich Harris in 2016.

Getting started with Sveltehttps://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Learn/Tools_and_testing/Client-side_JavaScript_frameworks/Svelte_getting_started

Today, most component frameworks deal with state management by re-rendering the entire component tree on every change, even if only a single node has changed. This wastes valuable resources and can lead to Jamstack in complex applications.

Instead of virtual DOM diffing, Svelte writes code that surgically updates the DOM when the state of your app changes. This means that apps built with Svelte are fast by default, and you don’t have to worry about wrapping your head around a built-in virtual DOM API. And because Svelte components have no dependencies, you can ship them as stand-alone packages, which is great for compatibility with third-party libraries and tools.

  • Write less code
  • No virtual DOM
  • Truly reactive

What is Svelte.js?

Svelte.JS is a component-based JavaScript framework similar to React and Vue.js. But unlike those frameworks, it embraces a brand new approach to building user interfaces.

With Svelte, you write components in a format that is very similar to writing HTML, CSS and JavaScript all together in one file. Then, when you build your app for production, your components are compiled into highly efficient vanilla JavaScript code that eliminates the need for any kind of runtime library, like React or Vue.JS. (Read this – https://outsourceit.today/do-you-believe-vue-js-will-surpass-react-js/)

This approach has a number of benefits. Firstly, it can give you a huge performance boost because there is no need for the browser to download and run a larger JavaScript library just to display your app. Secondly, it can make your code more maintainable because you are not relying on any external dependencies.

Svelte also provides first-class support for TypeScript, which can help you catch errors before they happen. And last but not least, Svelte comes with its own set of tools and best practices that can make development faster and easier.

svelte kit image

Why use Svelte?

There are many reasons to develop with the Svelte framework. The main benefits are its small size, its ease of use, and its speed.

Svelte is a modern framework that uses a unique approach to development. Rather than relying on large libraries, it compiles your code at build time, so you end up with leaner, more efficient code. This also means that you don’t need to spend time loading large libraries into memory, which can improve performance.

Svelte is also very easy to use. It uses a syntax that is similar to HTML, so it is easy to pick up for anyone who has experience with web development. And because it doesn’t rely on large libraries, there is less code to write, which can save you time in the development process.

Finally, Svelte is fast. It compiles your code down to small bundles that load quickly and run efficiently. This can improve the performance of your applications and make them more responsive.

Guide for beginners

Why is Svelte becoming popular in 2023?

Svelte, a modern JavaScript framework, has been gaining popularity for a number of reasons:

1. Compiler-Based Approach: Unlike traditional JavaScript frameworks that do most of their work in the browser, Svelte shifts that work into a compile step that happens when you build your app. This results in less code being sent to the browser, making apps load and run faster.

2. Simplicity: Svelte’s syntax is straightforward and easy to understand, especially for those already familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This simplicity makes it an attractive option for developers of all skill levels.

3. Performance: Because Svelte compiles your code to efficient vanilla JavaScript at build time, it’s able to deliver excellent performance. There’s no virtual DOM, and no runtime interpretations. This results in faster initial loading, smooth animations, and less memory consumption.

4. Reactive Programming: Svelte introduces a new approach to reactivity. Instead of using a virtual DOM diffing algorithm for reactivity, it uses a compile-time code to update the DOM which makes it more efficient.

5. Rich Feature Set: Svelte comes with built-in state management, animations, transitions, and other features out of the box. This reduces the need for additional libraries and tools, making it a more complete package for developers.

6. Growing Community and Ecosystem: The community around Svelte has been growing rapidly, with a proliferation of tutorials, examples, and third-party libraries available to support development.

As with any technology, Svelte might not be the right choice for every project, but its unique advantages make it an appealing choice for many. Keep in mind that while it’s gaining popularity, it’s still not as widely used or supported as some other frameworks like React or Vue.js.

How to get started with Svelte?

Svelte is a new framework for building fast, reactive user interfaces. If you’re not familiar with Svelte, check out the [documentation](https://svelte.dev/docs).

To get started with Svelte, you’ll need a recent version of Node.js installed on your machine. Then create a new project and install the dependencies:

npx degit sveltejs/template svelte-app
cd svelte-app
npm install

Once that’s done, you can run the app in development mode with:

npm run dev

What are the benefits of using Svelte?

The biggest advantage of using Svelte is that it helps developers write easy-to-understand code that is free of any framework-related boilerplate. This is because Svelte handles most of the heavy lifting for them, which results in simpler and more concise code.

Svelte also offers a number of benefits over traditional frameworks, such as:

  • Better performance: Svelte apps are typically faster than those built with other frameworks because they are more lightweight and only load the necessary code for each page.
  • Less code: Because Svelte apps require less code, they are easier to maintain and scale.
  • Enhanced developer experience: Svelte provides a variety of features that improve the developer experience, such as hot reloading and language support for TypeScript and JSX.

How is Svelte different from other frameworks?

Svelte is a component-based framework, which means that your code is organized into small, self-contained pieces. This makes it easy to create complex applications without getting bogged down in spaghetti code.

Other popular frameworks, such as React and Angular, use a virtual DOM to keep track of changes to the UI. This means that every time a piece of data changes, the entire UI is re-rendered. Svelte takes a different approach: it uses something called a DOM diff to only update the parts of the UI that have changed. This makes Svelte applications much faster and more efficient than applications built with other frameworks.

Why You don’t need Svelte?

Do you already have a working website, but a new developer persuades you to rewrite everything on Svelte? How to understand whether you need to do it? I will try to explain on a real example.

We have a site written in React about 3 years ago. Frontend specialists always persuade us to switch to a new technology to solve old problems and keep the project code up to date. But when we get a cost estimate for this work, we see the need to increase resources x10 times. It is expensive for a working project with a small team of developers. At the same time, while the code is being updated to the new framework, the development of new features will stop. Our users do not get new functionality and will wait for it for a long time.

Of course, if you have an unlimited budget – this is not a problem. You can quickly increase your Svelte team by outsourcing. You will also have to replace your team or train them in new technology.

For example, for a SaaS startup that generates 10 thousand dollars a month, this solution is not acceptable. But for a rhubarb company with 50 thousand dollars or more should be enough resources to hire 2 developers.

After looking at the pros and cons of each framework, it’s clear that there is no right or wrong answer when choosing a front-end framework. The best solution is to choose the framework that best suits your needs.

If you’re looking for a lightweight solution that won’t require much development time, Svelte may be the right choice for you. However, if you need a more robust solution that can handle complex applications, React or Angular may be a better fit.

No matter which framework you choose, the most important thing is to pick one that you’re comfortable with and that will help you get the job done.

Furthermore, some of the more complex gaming genres, such as iGaming, have additional requirements when it comes to things like gaming software. A developer building a real money gaming platform needs to integrate electronic slot machine mechanics in the form of random number generators.

Another important consideration is the way in which a gaming platform will be accessed and played. For instance, will the digital games be available on PC, console, mobile devices or all three? Each medium has its own limitations as to what it can run, meaning that a cross-play gaming platform will need to be optimised for the different mediums in order to provide the best possible gaming experiences.

Even platforms for use on single devices will need to be designed and developed with that in mind. Things to take note of during the developmental process include screen size, controls (touch screen, joypads, keyboard and mouse etc.) and even battery life.

A lot of the work involved in building gaming platforms for different devices is solved by the technology that’s being used. Plenty of top developers use game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine to create their output, while others build their own engines from scratch. The choice of technology will depend on the type of game in development, as well as the skills and expertise of the development team.

Throughout each stage of the process, user experience also needs to be taken into account. In order to be successful in such a competitive marketplace, all gaming platforms need to provide a seamless and intuitive experience for gamers. This means investing in UX design at the development stage, covering everything from gameplay to user interfaces.

Data and Privacy

As well as the technical side, there are also several legal and regulatory considerations when developing a digital gaming platform. Going back to iGaming, for example, it’s imperative that operators comply with all the relevant gaming regulations and they have the appropriate licenses and permits to operate.

Anyone launching a gaming platform also needs to consider the implications of data privacy and security. Even free-to-play gaming platforms will collect sensitive information from gamers, such as their personal information, while platforms that allow players to purchase games or play with real money will need to securely process payment details. Compliance with data protection regulations like GDPR is an absolute must.

Monetisation Methods

Last but by no means least, it’s also important to think about how a gaming platform will be monetised. There are several different monetisation models available, including subscription-based models, paid downloads and, in the case of mobile, the freemium model, which is characterised by being free to play with in-app purchases.

Each model has its own unique advantages and disadvantages, meaning creators need to choose the one that best fits their target audience. Of course, it’s also possible to move to a different monetisation method after it has been running for a period of time.

Website Maintenance tips

In this digital age, websites are the first point of interaction between a business and its customers. They form the ever-important first impression on your prospective clients. Of course, you need to invest in a good website for your business, but it isn’t enough to set it up. You need regular maintenance to keep your website running smoothly. In fact, regular website maintenance is essential for customer experience and retention, particularly if you do most of your transactions through the site.

Just like in car maintenance, you want to handle issues like website bugs, technical issues, broken links, security issues, and load speeds. That way, there is a reduced bounce rate since every visitor has a jolly good time browsing through and navigating your corner of the internet.

Here are some tips to help you conduct thorough maintenance steps for your business:

Create a schedule!

Website maintenance is never a one-time thing. It is a continuous process of ensuring a website is in its best shape with no bugs and errors. Regular updates ensure compatibility between the website, browser, and plugins.

You need a schedule that helps you stay on top of things. That way, the monitoring will be frequent enough. A maintenance schedule is especially essential with an e-commerce website because customers constantly share sensitive data and information. And it is your duty to ensure data security.

Monitoring your website once a month should suffice. The optimal functioning of your website will rely on regular updates, and a schedule helps a lot.

Let feedback be the guide!

The endgame for any website maintenance quest is to appeal best to site visitors. In addition, the best way to know what will wow your target audience is to listen to what they have to say.

Customer feedback comes a long way in providing essential information a business can use to improve its website. The comment section should be the first place you look at when researching ways to improve your website. You will get insight into what your audience thinks about your website. You will also understand what features to add to your website and which ones you can use less of.

Your users will help you identify the things, which are not working, as they should. That way, your updates will be effective and improve the customer journey on your website.

Understand your audience!

Your website is primarily for your target audience. Ergo, they should be top of mind when doing updates and maintenance. Your website will only be the best match for your audience if you take the time to know who they are. Draft user personas that you will refer to when updating your content and website design. Ensure that everything to do to your website reflects the target audience.

Take care of the loading speed

Page loading is a crucial measure of website functionality. See, most users will abandon a website and never return if it takes too much time to load. One study done by Google back in 2016 found that 53% of mobile site visitors will leave a page that takes longer than 3 seconds to load, according to a Google study. Having a slow-loading website is a risk you should never be willing to take if you are serious about keeping visitors on your pages.

Ideally, your website should not take more than two minutes to load. You can use tools like GTmetrix to check the loading speed of your site and get other performance reports for your website.

A faster website means better retention, which translates to a higher possibility of conversions. Also, the lower bounce rate resulting from excellent loading speeds will paint you in good lighting with ranking in search engine results pages.

Perform security checks!

Carve out time to update your software. Update and install security patches, bug fixes, and all updates relating to your web server, CMS, database, connected applications, and operating systems. That way, your website will be safe from attacks from malicious cybercriminals.

Your hosting services should be secure enough. It helps when your service provider has solid uptime. Another layer of security to introduce to your website is using an SSL certificate. An SSL certificate will ensure an encrypted connection. That way, the user data will be secure. Moreover, SSL certificates are available at a low price a site owner can go with discounted or cheapest SSL Certificate to secure the site.

Prioritize regular SEO Audits

SEO makes your website visible in search results. That means more traffic and more opportunities to turn prospects into customers. Regular SEO audits are, therefore, an essential part of website maintenance.

An audit will help you assess the competition, check your loading speed, know your SERP ranking, and find and fix broken links. Prioritizing your SEO will make it easier to understand issues in your website that need fixing. You can also bring yourself up to speed on algorithm updates and emerging trends to apply to your site to make your website more desirable in the eyes of search engine giants.

Update content

Content is the flesh every website needs to feed its audience. However, it is only effective if relevant and with the times. In fact, websites that regularly update their content have a 434% higher chance of ranking well on search engines, according to a study by TechClient.

Fresh and evergreen content retains the regulars and attracts more traffic to your website. You need to keep your content up to date when doing website maintenance. Be sure to include the publication date before every blog so users can find recent content easily. It will also be easier for search engines to filter through content with dates. That way, they can rank your websites more favorably.

Remember to take care of the images too. Place them properly to create an incredible page design. Make sure that all images punctuating your content are high quality. Employ proper image SEO to make your content more discoverable.

Conduct regular web analysis!

You need to crunch the numbers to assess the efficiency of your website and understand customer behavior. That makes website analytics a crucial aspect of website maintenance.

Try to monitor your website analytics at least once a day. You will get instrumental updates about the statistics of the people visiting your site and the conversion rates. You could use tools like Google Analytics to get free website analytics.

Wrapping up

A website is never complete. There is always room for more improvements and updates. Update your website regularly to keep visitors scrolling through and encourage them to be back for more.

Best Continuous Integration Tools for 2023

Searching for the ideal way to guarantee your software dev process is current and proficient? In the ever-changing software industry, continuous integration tools are imperative for success in 2023. This article will give a summary of the leading CI tools and solutions available now. Understand precisely what continuous integration is, why it matters and which tools will help you succeed!

Continuous Integration (CI) is the practice of automating the integration of software data and parts. It keeps a consistent, reliable quality for the system. Developers commit code regularly. This code is then automatically built and tested. It helps to find errors or inconsistencies quickly before they become major issues.

The use of CI Tools is now essential to modern software development processes. It speeds up the process by providing automated validation, version control, and builds. Automating these processes saves time, reduces manual effort, and boosts developer productivity.

CI tools are important for successful software projects. They save time and give feedback on each change made by developers. Deciding on the right CI tool depends on the project’s scope and needs. You should consider scalability & performance, cost efficiency & level of support.

Here’s a list of the best CI Tools for 2023!

Benefits of Continuous Integration

Continuous Integration (CI) is getting popular in software development. It is about quickly combining changes from developers into a unified package. CI saves time by helping to find problems, solve conflicts and deliver tested releases.

Using CI brings advantages. It streamlines testing, finds bugs early and delivers faster. This reduces costs for maintenance and implementation. It also helps communication between developers and users, making it faster to create a reliable product.

CI lets us set up deployment pipelines easily while showing how long it takes to approve or release changes. Automation tools reduce human error and maintenance costs. Notifications trigger when something goes wrong or when risks happen during development or testing, and this reduces response times.

Challenges of Continuous Integration

Continuous Integration (CI) is a process of continually building and testing software. This ensures new features are quickly and reliably added to production. An effective CI system keeps development teams on track and reduces the risk of introducing new code.

CI can help speed up data collection for testing and feedback loops for user experience optimization. It can also be beneficial for smoother product launches.

Challenges with CI include:

  • Time – CI tools may take time to achieve advanced integrations. This can slow down product releases if not managed properly.
  • Cost – Commercial CI tools are expensive compared to open source counterparts.
  • System integration – Any errors or incompatibilities along the way can slow down development teams.
  • Security – Security breaches are an issue. CI must only allow authenticated users to access sensitive data – especially during deployments or upgrades.

5 Things to Remember When Hiring a Web Developer

Web development is a key ingredient in running a company efficiently and successfully. The term “web developer” is used to describe a professional who creates, modifies, and maintains websites to be used on computers and mobile phones alike. A web developer can specialize in various different areas within this field, which we will specify later. Currently, web developer has become a popular career in technology due to the increasing demand of web-based applications

Web development is a science-based, creative line of work that can be one of the best jobs for a career change. Within web development, you can join fields such as web design, programming, or database management. These various choices make this career suitable for someone who prefers a versatile environment and likes having room to grow in their job.

The focus of web development is to provide information that users seek to them whenever they need it. This entails information maintenance, frequent updates to the information, and high standards for information and website quality.

The Types of Development

Web development can be separated into two different categories: frontend and backend development.

Frontend development

This side of development focuses on anything the user will interact with, which is why this side of development uses HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap as their main programming languages for web design and so on.

Backend development

Backend development focuses on the servers these websites will run on, in other words, the body of the operation. No users will be interacting with these areas of the site. Languages like PHP, Python, Java, Node.js, and Back End Frameworks are used to secure efficient outcomes in backend development.

How to start looking into hiring

  1. Pinpoint a difficulty for the developer to fix

Before starting your search for hiring a web developer at your company, start by defining the issues your target audience, or you are facing, followed by the ideal outcome you wish to have. These struggles usually boil down to two things a developer can fix: design or functionality. Once defined, you can hire a frontend or a backend developer accordingly with the help of job boards like Lensa

For website creation, you will obviously need two people who are specialized in these two areas to work together on the project, or you can simply hire a full-stack developer who can do both. The reason specifying your project idea in detail is so crucial is that it will help you eliminate any candidates you don’t need, making the hiring process easier.

You should also mention the scale of the project at hand, which can range from small to large. Tasks could range from simple feature integration to creating a video social network, which are two very different things that some developers may not want to take on at that current time.

  1. Make sure your team knows what’s happening

Remember that hiring someone new is a new addition to your whole existing team. Your development team and hiring manager should all know what the challenge, goals, and expectations are, as well as the standards you are trying to reach as a company. This will help filter out any candidates who aren’t adept at working there or wouldn’t work with your team well.

  1. Look for specific characteristics

There are select features that every successful web developer has to offer. Depending on the notion of the project, you will be looking for different characteristics, but the main ones to look for include being quick learners, meaning they switch roles easier on a new team, having positive attitudes, ensuring they will go the extra mile, and reliability.

Reliability is a characteristic every great web developer has mastered since they take on multiple projects at once and need to learn to prioritize to optimize their workflows. Predicting when they finish projects and being on time are also an addition to reliability.

Good teamwork and strong communication skills are also a bonus when sifting through web developers since they will be working with your existing team to conclude a project.

  1. Make an outline for the developer to follow

Once you’re set on hiring a developer, you will want an exact outcome from this project. To make your and the potential developer’s life easier, start by giving them a project summary.

First, start by giving background information about you, your company, and the target audience you want to reach with this new project. Your business goals are also a priority since these projects are meant to boost those.

Give developers a project summary and also establish how the project should be delivered to you once it’s completed. After giving the developer a summary, provide them with existing assets your company has, such as logos, color schemes, guidelines, wireframes, and so on.

Lastly, give the developer a timeframe so they can successfully complete the project on time. Try to set the time frame to before the actual release of this product. This tactic gives insurance for your company to buffer any mistake in time if anything were to occur.

  1. How to evaluate a candidate before hiring

We’ve already mentioned some soft skills an ideal web developer should have to work well at all companies. We’ve also talked about what programming languages and other technical skills can prove useful for them. In this key point, we will talk about what you need to look for when evaluating the candidate you are already willing to hire.

Firstly, start by looking at past projects of theirs so you have proof of their expertise and can analyze where their weaknesses and strengths lie. This will allow you to steer the developer in a more ideal direction for the project to be completed to your standards.

Look at past customer ratings if you can. Luckily, almost everyone has a presence on the internet, especially those who work on it or with it, making background checks all the easier. Read up on individual customer reviews and look at their overall ratings to get a sense of what you’re in for.

Better developers ask for more but have a shorter turnaround time, whereas less experienced ones are the opposite. It is up to you to decide what suits this project as well as the deadline. If you’re unsure of who to hire, you can ask your candidates to complete a paid test so you can see how they work and somewhat predict what it would be like working with them.

The web development job market is currently saturated, making it easy to find one that suits your team and the company’s needs.  Job search portals, like Lensa, are one way you can filter through a number of CVs quickly. If you follow certain hiring rules and communicate clearly with your web developer, you will be able to turn out one successful project after another without having to worry about high turnover rates.

What is B2B Web Portal?

B2B (Business-to-Business) web portal development is the process of creating an online presence for businesses who seek to interact with other businesses.

The B2B web portal enables businesses to make direct contact with one another and share information efficiently, helping to enhance the effectiveness of the business processes. It also facilitates the trading of products and services, including purchasing from suppliers, order processing, invoicing, payments, returns and customer service.

The development of a B2B web portal requires specialized knowledge and technical skills in order to build an effective solution that will meet all of the business’s needs. Many development companies offer customizable service packages which allow businesses to customize their web portals as per their unique requirements. These packages typically include features such as data security protocols, integration with 3rd party systems such as accounting or CRM software and custom APIs or integrations for commerce platforms.

Additionally, a B2B web portal needs to be continuously monitored in order to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently at all times. It should be tested regularly so that any problems can be quickly identified and rectified in a timely manner to prevent disruption from occurring. Moreover, ongoing maintenance should be carried out in order keep up with security updates as well as bug fixes for any discovered errors.

Benefits of B2B Web Portals

Business-to-business (B2B) web portals provide a powerful online platform for companies in any industry to improve the way they do business. From streamlining communications and ordering processes to automating sales and service, B2B web portals make everyday interactions effortless and efficient. With the right B2B portal in place, enterprises can reduce operational costs, improve customer service and increase overall profitability.

Here are some of the benefits of implementing a B2B web portal:

  • Reduced operational costs: By streamlining day-to-day tasks such as order entry, invoicing and payment processing with a web portal, companies can significantly reduce overhead costs associated with manual operations.
  • Fast turnaround times: Automating entire process chains enable companies to respond quickly to client orders and inquiries, improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Global reach: A well-designed B2B web portal gives companies access to potential customers worldwide by providing them with real time connectivity 24/7. While reducing traditional barriers of communication between international buyers and suppliers such as geographical distance or language differences.

Challenges of B2B Web Portal Development

Developing a B2B (business-to-business) web portal requires sophisticated technology designed to facilitate secure and efficient interactions between businesses. The key challenge for organizations is to ensure optimal customer experience and secure data sharing that both companies can trust.

For any B2B website, providing users with an intuitive interface, faster loading times, and secure data access is essential. Additionally, businesses need to find the right balance between effective collaboration and competitive processes in order to create value for their customers.

Some of the most common challenges posed by developing a B2B web portal include:
-Ensuring a user-friendly design with easy navigation
-Providing the right level of security to protect customer data
-Integrating various payment systems
-Supporting multiple languages
-Extracting accurate customer insights from data
-Creating an experience that is tailored to customer needs

In order to meet these requirements, it is important that businesses combine modern technologies such as AI (Artificial Intelligence), machine learning, automation and advanced analytics. By embracing relevant new technologies, many organizations are able to successfully create powerful B2B portals that enable effective business operations.

Designing a B2B Web Portal

Designing a B2B web portal is far more complex than designing a typical consumer website. Organizations must think through their larger business strategy to ensure they create an effective interface that meets and exceeds user expectations.

To start the process, businesses must define their objectives and establish goals for their web portal. This includes understanding the purpose of the site, such as providing support to customers, enhancing relationships with partners and vendors, educating buyers or something else entirely. Once these objectives are clearly defined, businesses can move on to considering specific features for their B2B website such as:
-Responsive design
-Easy search capabilities
-Content customization options
-Detailed product descriptions and specifications
-Secure sign in/out feature
-Dynamic pricing capabilities
-Detailed customer support options
-Integration with external APIs or other systems

A successful B2B web portal must also be designed with the user in mind. Businesses should consider the needs of their target audience when deciding what information should be included on the site as well as how they can streamline navigation to make it easier for visitors to find what they are looking for quickly and easily.

It’s also important to consider how users may access the site – via smartphones, tablets or desktop computers – since this will heavily influence how it is designed.

Building a B2B Web Portal

Building a B2B web portal requires you to take into account the needs of both your customers and suppliers. As a business, your goal is to create a platform that provides an efficient and user-friendly experience for all parties involved, including yourself as the business owner.

Developing a B2B web portal starts with setting up the infrastructure. You have to consider security features such as single sign-on, two-factor authentication, and role-based access control. Additionally, consider factors such as scalability, elastic architecture, open APIs for integration with existing systems, global access capabilities for distributed teams and partners worldwide.

You should also think about building in analytics capabilities to track performance metrics of core processes and engagement on the platform – buyers behavior insights help drive success in marketing campaigns & supplier rating mechanisms which provide you feedback on suppliers performance

Once the portal has been built, it’s important to be creative in how you promote it and market it. Choose the right channels – through email campaigns or sponsored content on digital media – reach out to prospective customers & recommend your portal as their go-to supplier comparison system or relying on word of mouth through case studies & referrals from satisfied customers & partners. Collaterals like webinars or scheduled group demos will help generate interest in your marketplace platform & offers effective customer education opportunities for both buyers & suppliers alike

It’s also important that your B2B platform remains current over time; Constantly review customer needs and feedback from stakeholders regularly to tune features within the solution like automated exchange processes combined with modern user interfaces help maintain ongoing value over time & ensure customer retention is always maximized through an ever improved ecommerce experience.

Integrating a B2B Web Portal

Integrating a B2B (Business-to-Business) web portal into a business offers a range of advantages that are hard to pass up. Customers can access relevant information quickly, and the integration of customer support provides an opportunity to ensure high customer satisfaction. It also allows more efficient transactions as customers don’t have to manually go through each step of the process. With this automation, customers are more likely to complete transactions quickly and easily.

In addition, a B2B platform reduces costs associated with the administration so that businesses can save money in the long run. Furthermore, an effective B2B platform has other benefits such as higher security standards and improved analytics tools for better data gathering and long term customer insights.

When integrating a web portal for a B2B system, there are several steps businesses should take early on with implementation including:

  • establishing protocols for data protection;
  • developing enhanced authentication processes;
  • using advanced reporting tools for efficient website performance tracking;
  • creating appropriate search engine optimization strategies;
  • setting up eCommerce capabilities;
  • and integrating CRM platforms with relevant analytics tools.

By developing systems from the outset that provide users with immediate access to important account information or product application forms, they will be able to navigate the website easier and faster while enhancing their buyer experience overall.

Optimizing a B2B Web Portal

When it comes to optimizing a B2B web portal, there are a number of considerations that must be taken into account in order to ensure a successful project. First and foremost, the goal of the web portal should be established before any further development or optimization begins. This includes understanding the purpose of the platform, who will be using it, and what types of tasks they will need to perform on the site. Additionally, research should be conducted into existing solutions available on the market in order to identify opportunities for improvement.

Once these factors have been clarified, it is then important to consider how users will interact with the portal and how different functions can be implemented in order to improve user experience. This includes addressing design issues such as page layout, navigation elements such as menus and links, content structure and placement (including calls-to-action), as well as how different features such as search engine optimization strategies are integrated across all aspects of the platform. In addition to e-commerce capabilities (if applicable), other areas for optimization may include customer relationship management integrations and third-party software compatibility.

Finally, testing should be completed in order to assess if any improvements can or should be made before launch. During this phase, it is important to make sure all elements are running properly while allowing an opportunity for feedback from internal teams or external stakeholders prior to full release. By applying a comprehensive approach towards optimizing a B2B web portal, companies can ensure they are able to deliver products that meet their business objectives while providing an intuitive user experience.

Maintenance of a B2B Web Portal

Successful business operations require a reliable system to ensure that all aspects of the business run smoothly. Maintenance of a B2B Web Portal is one of the most important tasks businesses can undertake in order to provide their customers with high-level performance and functionality. From regular updates and system upgrades, to managing resources and web content, maintenance is essential for businesses that use portals heavily in order to promote their products or services.

B2B Web Portal Maintenance Cost – $1 500.00 to $15 000.00 per month

When undertaking maintenance on a B2B Web Portal, it is important to consider several factors, such as security concerns, data loss prevention, content management, and performance optimization. Security measures should be taken seriously when dealing with sensitive customer information. This includes ensuring adequate security protocols are in place for user access control. Data loss should also be pre-empted through proactive backups and redundancy strategies in order to mitigate against any unforeseen issues with the portal itself or its hosting environment.

As part of an ongoing maintenance regime, every component of the portal should be regularly monitored for performance optimization purposes. This includes CPU load testing, server load analysis, user authentication procedures, session timeouts and network topology auditing – all factors that could limit or impede peak performance at peak times when usage demands become higher than usual. Additionally, regular patching should be carried out on each page component and script containers while ensuring version incompatibilities are addressed when needed.

Content management requires skilled admin personnel in order to maintain an up-to-date inventory of product listings, media assets and associated content across the portal’s platform(s). Therefore IT administrators must stay on top of new features being rolled out as well as subscribe to developer mailing lists in order to remain current with any new patches available for those features. By creating automated jobs associated with these tasks will enable organizations to keep costs low while minimizing manual labour involved when dealing with round-the-clock dedicated system troubleshooting support coverages

How to Get Customers to Feel Safe When Playing on a Website

Safety and security are critical criteria users look for when playing in a casino. And while brick-and-mortar gambling establishments do not have a lot of security concerns, this topic mainly pertains to online gambling, which has increasingly become a preferred option for gambling these days. When playing casino games online for real money, many individuals increasingly favor online sites, like https://www.slotozilla.com/uk/no-deposit-bonus over brick-and-mortar establishments.

Online platforms are popular and highly sought after; this isn’t only because of how convenient they are but for the security measures top sites can adopt. Land-based clubs are not much of a security concern because they usually have basic measures like bouncers, CCTV cameras, etc., and are easily verifiable by customers before they go in to play.

Similarly, online sites should have basic security frameworks that users should look out for before they sign up and begin to play. There must be more than these basic measures for customers to avoid using the site, as they could expose them to security risks. Online gambling sites must be highly secure due to the money transferred between customers and site operators. Since these transactions involve the players’ personal information, which could include card information, there must be a high level of security to safeguard the players and the casino from outside parties.

The Need for Customers to Be Safe

It is usual for users to feel apprehensive about the security measures on a site if it is their first time playing on it. Although there are many different types of cybercriminals and hackers, they all seek the same thing: access to your financial and personal information. In recent years, the popularity of online gambling has exploded.

There are several reasons why some gamblers choose to wager and have fun from home instead of going to a conventional casino. This is because online platforms provide many advantages that aren’t available in physical locations. Many people spend time playing games on their computers or

mobile devices rather than going to casinos. There are some plausible reasons for the sudden rise in popularity of online gambling, including:

  • One of their key advantages is the anonymity Internet casinos offer their customers. You may concentrate on the game without being forced to move quickly or take an awkward stance. These days, you don’t even need to leave your house or the neighbourhood tavern to play online slots.
  • It is reasonable to think that the pleasure and realism of playing at an online gambling site are too fantastic to be true. Real-time player and dealer interaction is an exciting new feature of online casino games. These improvements will make playing online more similar to the experience of playing at a physical casino. And technology is growing to make gaming increasingly convenient and bring the experience of a land-based casino to one’s home.

Since online gambling sites are more of a security concern than land-based ones, here are a few security measures that help customers feel safer when playing.

SSL (Secure Socket Layer Technology)

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) provides secure communications between clients and servers (in this case, the casino platform and the player). All information transmitted between a user and a website with SSL is secure.

You can tell whether a website has SSL encryption if it’s HTTPS rather than HTTP. That data must always stay safe when you give personal information to a website, including your name and address. Because encryption gives the average computer user comfort, many websites on the internet utilise it extensively. Currently, this level of website security serves as the benchmark against which all others are compared. For users, a website with SSL support is a more secure alternative.

SSL is often the first point of contact that users would look for when they visit an online gambling site. The average security-conscious user knows that you quit when you visit a website that doesn’t have SSL encryption.

Firewalls are a thing you must have heard one way or the other. Firewalls serve as websites’ first point of defence, as malicious users always look to break down firewalls before proceeding with the hack. These aid in establishing precise parameters that determine which online traffic should be permitted and which should not. It aids in preventing unwanted traffic from reaching the website’s server. This is crucial because it shields the server against attacks by malicious software that could try to access user data. Additionally, they aid in preventing disturbed denial of service(DDOS attacks), which might increase unwelcome site traffic and increase vulnerabilities.

Banking Methods

Secure banking is one of the ways to make customers feel safe at online gambling sites. But one of the most recent additions is the availability of several deposit alternatives. You may pay using debit or credit cards, online payment services like PayPal, and similar methods, but many sites now offer to let you use cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrencies have increasingly become a preferred option for users as it provides an extra layer of protection and is designed to protect the identity of users.

There are so many other payment methods you may use in case you decide to switch, and even if one of them should fail you, there are still many other possibilities you can choose from. Gambling, which includes cash and numerous transactions, is the focus of casinos. The more secure you feel, the better, and any decent casino will put your convenience and safety first.

Casinos ensure the security of their patrons by possessing all required permits and certifications. Users always look to confirm that a casino site is licensed before they deposit money and begin playing. Licenses suggest that a site is regulated and offers all its services per fair play rules. Only a few regulatory bodies have the power to grant licenses required for casinos to continue operating lawfully, making it easy for users to point out legit gambling sites. Malta Gaming Authority, the United Kingdom Gambling Commission, iGaming Curacao, the Costa Rican Jurisdiction, and others are among the licenses that fall under this category.

Other security measures that ensure user safety include:

  • Third-party apps
  • Random Number Generator(RNG) technology
  • Responsible Gambling

The best online casino goes above and beyond to ensure customers know how to contact them with inquiries or problems. They provide online casino legitimacy by giving players trustworthy information they may use to their advantage. Customer service alternatives offered by casinos to their clients include live chat, on-site support, email, a phone number, and occasionally even a physical presence (depending on the establishment).

Players must find out if customer support is accessible and what hours they may call a representative before registering with a casino. These peripheral systems ensure user safety and boost customer confidence when playing online.

Introduction to Building in Public (BIP)

The term “building in public” (BIP) refers to the practice of developing a business or product publicly, rather than in private. This can involve a variety of tactics such as live streaming development, posting updates on social media and hosting online events or webinars. In many ways, building in public is about “democratizing” the process of creating a startup by inviting the public to cheer you on and even participate in various steps of the idea development.

Building in public allows an entrepreneur to begin building relationships with potential customers and investors early on, which is great for early market validation. It also enables potential customers to get insight into how they are helping shape a product they may eventually come to love or use. Plus, building in public gives entrepreneurs an opportunity to cultivate relationships with tech communities and get input from experts in their space who can provide valuable feedback and ideas.

Additionally, building with transparency — like allowing people to see into your process — can create trust by allowing those involved with your idea feel like they’re connected and understand where decisions come from. Finally, since much of technology advancement always starts with basic experimentation anyway (even if only part of what ends up shipping), why not involve other people from the start? This can help you build credibility faster too!

Benefits of Building in Public your Project

Building in public provides a number of advantages for startups, including opportunities to engage with potential customers, gain feedback from industry experts, and create a publicity engine. Even veterans of the startup world can benefit from taking a more public approach to building their businesses.

One of the biggest benefits of building in public is visibility. When individuals and businesses share their stories openly on blogs, podcasts, and social media channels, they present an opportunity for potential customers to learn about them. This action can draw people in and help build a solid customer base. Additionally, it piques the interest of tech-savvy investors who are constantly on the lookout for new startups to fund.

For startups in particular, building in public offers invaluable feedback that may not be available simply by talking with colleagues or contacts within your network. Engaging publicly with other entrepreneurs and industry experts allows you to get opinions you might miss out on when discussing only within your own organization. It also creates buzz around your product or service that could bring more business opportunities down the line.

Finally, building in public is an incredibly effective way to create publicity around your business without needing much (or any) financial investment beyond what it takes to maintain channels like blogs, podcasts, or social media accounts where you’ll be sharing information and updates about your company as it grows. You can generate far greater visibility through this method alone than you would by relying solely on marketing tactics such as advertising campaigns or paid promotions that require significant spending upfront #BenefitsOfBuildingInPublic

Challenges of Building in Public

Building a Startup in public can present many challenges. Not only do startups often require considerable secrecy, but introducing your work and ideas to the wider public creates risks such as market competition and copyright issues. At the same time, creating an authentic, open narrative around your startup can be beneficial: community feedback, transparency, collaborations and increased visibility are just some of the rewards for embracing a “build in public” approach.

Before committing to such an approach, it is important to consider the many challenges that come with making a startup journey publicly visible. These include the danger of advice overload from those online:

  • copycatting;
  • not being able to easily pivot product plans or strategies;
  • dealing with negative chatter from trolls or disgruntled customers or team members;
  • or sensitive discussions about financials (often frowned upon by investors).

Additionally, founders and teams must also consider whether they may overshare too much information, unintentionally giving away competitive advantages.

Each of these issues needs to be managed thoughtfully in order to ensure success during a public building journey – especially given that mistakes are often magnified exponentially when working in public. Ultimately, only you can decide if building in public is right for you and your team. However by considering all of the potential pitfalls thoroughly beforehand you can ensure that you make an informed choice on how much – or how little – of your journey you wish to make visible.

Tips for Building in Public

Building in public is rapidly gaining popularity among tech startups and aspiring entrepreneurs. By publicly documenting and broadcasting your journey, you can generate more interest in your product, gain feedback more quickly, strengthen relationships with potential customers, and build an engaged community that supports your success.

Below are some tips to help you get started with building in public:

1. Start by setting up a platform: Decide where you want to share your story — Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, or even a blog or podcast. Choose the platforms that fit best with the type of content you will be created so people can find it easily.
2. Plan ahead: Once you know your platform of choice, outline what types of content you want to create and how often you’ll be sharing updates about your progress. Be sure to stick to a schedule; consistency will help keep followers engaged over time.
3. Focus on the customer: Who are the people who will be interested in following along on your journey? Share stories that focus not just on what it takes to run a company but also how it impacts them — this could include things like user feedback sessions or product demos for new releases.
4. Tell stories: Keep your followers engaged by crafting compelling stories about why people should use (or not use) certain features; include fun facts about startup life; highlight customer successes; let everyone peek behind the curtain at times of hardship or failure—all these elements make for an entertaining read!
5. Make connections: Use social media strategically to seek out influencers who match your ideal customer persona– following industry experts and engaging in conversations can eventually lead to great opportunities down the road!
6. Embrace transparency: Transparency creates trust and boosts credibility with potential customers—so don’t shy away from discussing confidential information as long as it doesn’t violate any laws or nondisclosure agreements linked to specific partnerships or launches! Just make sure everything is properly attributed too if necessary 😉

Examples of Companies Building in Public

Building in public is not a new concept, but it has become increasingly popular as more companies and startups recognize the potential for growth and have taken their products to the public before launch. This strategy comes with its own set of advantages and challenges, so understanding what building in public is and how it can help your business can be helpful in deciding if it’s something you should pursue.

To illustrate this concept, here are some examples of successful companies that implemented a build-in-public strategy:

Buffer: Buffer has been an open-source digital marketing platform since 2011 when they launched their app publicly and provided insights into their team meetings.
Basecamp: Basecamp is a project management tool that developed a web service as an open source project, allowing developers to follow developments live, suggest feature improvements and give feedback.
GitLab: GitLab created an online repository for developers in 2013 to streamline processes such as code review, investigations and collaboration among team members.
WordPress: WordPress was released publicly in 2003 as an open-source content management system that continues to be one of the most widely used blog publishing platforms.

Building in public involves ongoing engagement with development teams, customers and investors through blogs and social media updates that highlight successes or failures early on so other entrepreneurs can learn from those lessons or take guidance before making similar mistakes without too much risk. It also allows startups to get feedback from investors early on prior to launching products or pursuing investments making it a valuable tool for early-stage entrepreneurs looking for success opportunities.

In addition, potential users are more likely to try new products when they are openly documented updates revealing what works best from platforms like Twitter & Reddit which helps spread news of their existence faster than traditional channels like press releases & PR coverage– ultimately leading to more downloads & conversions from potential users interested in the product.

Tools for Building in Public

As more and more founders join the “building in public” movement, there are a growing number of tools available. Building in public means that entrepreneurs showcase their progress to the outside world while they build their business. This helps increase transparency and give founders an immediate feedback loop from their target audience. From social media platforms like Twitter, to project management and open source tools — there are several strategies for businesses to build in public.

Some popular tools used for building in public include:

  • Social media platforms (e.g., Twitter, Instagram): these provide a space for entrepreneurs to share updates, answer questions, and engage with customers.
  • Video streaming apps (e.g., YouTube, Twitch): these are great for livestreaming product demos or announcing important milestones with visuals and interactive elements. Read our post about it.
  • Open Source Documentation Platforms (e.g., GitHub): used by many already established businesses as well as startups to document their entire process — from development cycles to user feedback — publicly online for anyone to review ànd contribute to development efforts if desired!
  • Project Management Tools (e.g., Trello): great way of keeping track of tasks at hand while providing an accessible platform where others can follow progress on projects such as product launches or pivotal releases of new features/updates being rolled out over time!

Best Practices for Building in Public

Building a startup in public can create an incredible opportunity to connect with potential customers and grow a larger audience. It can also increase accountability, as well as provide valuable insight into the progress of your product. If done correctly, building in public will also make it easier to bring in investors and potential advisors, who understand what you’re trying to accomplish.

However, there are certain best practices that you should consider when building in public. Here are a few key tips to help you best leverage this strategy:

  • Set clear expectations: Before you begin building in public, it’s important to establish your boundaries and expectations. Decide how often you’ll share updates, how much detail you’re willing to provide, what type of acceptable feedback, etc. Most importantly, determine if/when it may be appropriate to start charging money for access.
  • Be transparent about your plan: Transparency is key when it comes to building in public. Sharing regular progress reports helps fans stay informed about your progress and keeps them engaged with what comes next. Additionally, being honest about setbacks or problems facing your product will inspire even more faith from the community since they’ll know that their concerns are taken seriously and addressed promptly.
  • Manage conversations carefully: Building out conversations can be a great way to interact with customers and get feedback on your product or feature ideas – however it can also delay the actual process of developing said product or feature if not managed properly. To avoid this cliché trapdoor while still utilizing the bonus conversation sparks from “building certain things in public” – focus more on providing clarity rather than participating yourself directly in discussions relating back to the feature / product roadmap (unless absolutely necessary).

By following these best practices when engaging with the public during startup building processes, founders can ensure that their business is running smoothly while maximizing potential connections with customers and sponsors alike!

In conclusion, for those looking to build in public and become successful, this guide is an essential resource. It outlines the essential strategies for creating a profitable business, gaining recognition and respect as an expert, increasing your strategic collaborations and partnerships, and creating content that converts.

Despite the ever-evolving nature of the modern startup landscape, these strategies remain as relevant now as they were when this guide was written. With effort and dedication to learning the basics of public-building, you can create a brand that is respected far and wide.

Steps for Developing a Website Similar to Datdrop.com

Creating a website like Datdrop.com involves a few steps that may be challenging but are highly rewarding once accomplished. To start with, careful research needs to be conducted to understand the site’s core idea, design, user experience approach, and other relevant factors. Additionally, coding needs to be done efficiently to ensure compatibility with all desktop as well as mobile devices.

Here’s a brief overview of the development process:

1. Research: Gather information regarding the Datdrop website, including its current design elements and features, user interface approaches, etc., and use it as a base for your project.
2. Wireframe Design: Utilize the collected research data to create an initial wireframe structure for the website at both page level & component level — this is where you’ll decide about placement of components on each page or their functionalities.
3. Identification of System Requirements: Breakdown each component identified in step 2 into smaller pieces and identify system requirements needed for every piece — some parts might need server-side support while others can directly implemented via client-side coding using HTML/CSS/JavaScript/etc..
4. High-fidelity Mockups & Design Implementation: Using these system requirements as foundation blocks, create high-fidelity mockups that define look & feel along with interactions; use these mockups as reference points while implementing designs via HTML/CSS/JavaScript/etc..
5. Testing & Debugging: Thoroughly test your implementation against defined usage scenarios — starting from validating minor pieces up till validating complete product end-to-end — fix issues identified through testing process until entire product is considered stable; once satisfied, release it live or move it out for production environment through hosting services such as AWS..

Building the Front-end of the Website

The front-end of the gambling website will be created using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The following steps should be taken when building the front-end:

1. Develop a wireframe of the website using a software tool such as Adobe XD, Sketch or Figma. This is important to ensure that all design elements fit together consistently and accurately reflect your vision for how the website should look.

2. Create a style guide that details any colors, fonts and other design elements used throughout the site. This will help you create consistency across all pages.

3. Write HTML code to create all the elements on your page and style them with CSS code to make them look appealing and presentable for visitors

4. Test different layout designs to find an optimal user experience that looks good and helps users find what they are looking for easily

5. Add interactivity by linking pages together and making sure navigational links work properly using JavaScript

6. Check page load speed by testing each page on multiple browsers, devices or networks to make sure they load quickly

7. Validate code against existing standards such as W3C’s HTML validator and CSS validator

8. Utilize web tools such as Google Analytics to monitor traffic patterns, measure conversions and gain insights about visitor behavior

Setting up the Database

One of the most important components of a website like datdrop.com is the database. You will need to create a database and tables to store user data, products data, orders data, and other information that users may need to access while using the site. Depending on your implementation technology, different methods for setting up the database exist.

If you are using PHP and MySQL, you can manually create the tables in a web-based tool like phpMyAdmin or you can use SQL scripts to create and populate your tables with information. If you prefer using an Object Relational Mapping (ORM) library such as Doctrine for PHP or Hibernate for Java frameworks, then you won’t have to manually create the tables; instead, by configuring an object model in code and running generate command from within your ORM library command line tooling youWill be able to automaticallybuild out all of your necessary database objects including but not limitedto Tables, views and stored procedures etc required by datDrop.com

When setting up your Database it’s important that you understand how it will be used so thatyou can organize it accordingly and ensure optimal performance of queries over time as the site grows.

Integrating Payment Gateways

In order to create an interactive and secure website such as datdrop.com, you need to be able to accept payments from your users. One of the best ways to do this is by integrating payment gateways into your website. Payment gateways provide a way for customers to securely send money directly from their own account into yours.

Payment gateways are responsible for verifying that the user’s account can cover the payment they are attempting, so it is one of the most important parts of building an e-commerce site such as datdrop.com. When selecting a payment gateway provider, you should consider features such as customer service and ease of integration with your project’s architecture. Popular providers include PayPal, Stripe, and Authorize.net – all with slightly different feature sets and prices that may be more suitable for certain transactions.

Once a payment gateway has been integrated into your platform’s codebase and configured correctly, you should then begin setting up relevant pages and forms on your site that can collect customers’ payment information (such as credit card numbers). Depending on the implementation, your web application may also be necessary to interact with the payment gateway in some way (such as verifying a token or fetching details about a transaction). With all these pieces in place, customers can begin sending funds securely through your website!

Testing and Launching the Website like Datdrop

Once the design and development of the website is complete, it’s time to test it and launch it. This involves verifying the accuracy of content, checking the layout and design, and running a series of performance tests. It’s important to ensure that your system works correctly on various browsers and devices before going live to ensure that all visitors have a good experience using your website.

Some tasks you need to include in your testing phase are coding verification; page load time; compatibility on different browsers including IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc.; consistency across devices such as mobile phones and tablets; validating URLs so they don’t contain errors; performance tests including load time views of each page; broken link checks among others.

Testing should include methods for monitoring errors so you can solve them quickly when they occur. Once all tests have been passed successfully, your website can be launched live on the internet. Before this happens however there are additional steps that must be taken such as registering web domains and updates to DNS records which will allow users access to your website by its name rather than IP address. You may also need to configure hosting accounts or obtain a dedicated server before going live depending on specific technical characteristics of your project.

Maintenance and Upgrades

Maintaining a website similar to datdrop.com will involve staying up-to-date on new technologies, servers, and databases to ensure optimal usability and performance.
Adding features and functions require code changes, which should be tested for accuracy for official website updates.

Upgrades are essential for an active production environment as these features can help optimize a user’s experience when browsing the website and increase productivity when making adjustments.

Organizing backups is important in case of a crash or other technical issue that may arise with the server or database. These backups are crucial in ensuring that content isn’t lost and sensitive information remains secure.

Why do Startups Need to Begin with a Minimum Viable Product?

When it comes to developing a new solution, creating it as a minimum viable product is a sound idea. It allows startups to spend less time and costs to launch the product to the market. In contrast to a minimum lovable product, MVP tests a product’s functionality and its appeal to users’ needs. This lean startup approach helps to find out whether it is worth putting effort into an idea.

So what exactly is the “minimum viable product”? And what benefits does it bring to startups? In this article, we will shed some light on the topic of the MVP and discuss the most famous examples of minimum viable products.

The concept of the minimum viable product can be illustrated the following way:

Basically, MVP is a version of your software product that comes with only the most basic functions. It is deployed with the goal of getting feedback from early users. Their reaction will show what should be changed/ deleted/ added to your software product.

Significance of MVP for a startup

According to the data provided by Statista Report, the absence of market needs serves as a reason why 35% of startups fail.

Given these figures, it becomes clear why building an MVP becomes the first and foremost task for any startup. Its core idea lies in getting feedback before you proceed to develop a fully-fledged project. You analyze the customers’ feedback and decide what to do next.

Basically, you have two available options. You can pivot your business idea. The term “pivot” supposes that you can iterate your strategy to create new hypotheses and test it. Alternatively, you can give up your business idea completely.

Either way, the launch of a minimum viable product helps your startup save costs and avoid failure.

Expected benefits MVP brings for startups

Let’s outline the key advantages of the MVP approach for startups briefly.

1. Quick launch

Since a minimum viable product requires only basic functionality, specialists offering MVP development services will build it much faster than a full product.

As a result, you get better chances to release your product before a similar solution enters the market.

In its turn, a fast launch will help you test marketing strategies earlier and scale your business properly.

2. Gaining investors

Investors need to see the market value of your product to provide you with financial aid. On that score, the launch of the MVP is a sure-fire way to show the demand for your product or service.

Provided that the feedback from pioneer users is positive, you can freely present your business idea to investors.

3. Cost efficiency

Since the functionality of your minimum viable product is limited to one-two basic functions, developers will complete your project within a shorter time frame. Consequently, development costs will be lower.

Besides, the immediate feedback from pioneer users will allow you to add new features and improve the existing ones gradually. With this approach, the product development process is getting less costly.

4. Narrow focus

The MVP concept will make it easier to come up with an outstanding and appealing value suggestion. You will not be distracted by adding sophisticated functionality that may turn out completely unnecessary. Instead, you stay focused on the distinctive advantages of the product you want to sell to your potential customers.

To achieve this goal, you will become especially selective as to the functionality you want to include in your minimum viable product.

5. Better insight into your potential customers’ needs

Comprehensive research of your target audience is crucial, no doubts about it. However, honest feedback from the first adopters works better than even the most advanced business analytics. It provides you with the most accurate data.

Your customers can tell you what features should be added in the new release and what functionality you can easily do without.

Examples of the most successful MVPs

There is hardly a person who does not know about Facebook. Today it is a complex platform offering different products and services, not to mention its status as the dominant social network.

However, few people know that, initially, Facebook had a simple concept. It was designed as a universal directory for Harvard students only.

By focusing on the crucial features, Zuckerberg and his team avoided difficulties common for many startups when they are launched. For example, they did not spend too much time and money on building unnecessary features.

After several months following the release, Facebook added three other prominent American universities that are Yale, Stanford, and Columbia.

On September 26, 2006, everyone aged 13 years and older got the chance to register on the platform. Thus, Facebook gradually became the biggest social network as we know it today.

Spotify is a classic example of an MVP with one dominant feature that came off with flying colors. Daniel Ek and Martin Lorentzon set themselves to create the best music streaming product. So, they stuck to one main feature, which was, as you may guess, music streaming.

Spotify’s MVP was a desktop version of the app presented to the closed beta. This way, the company tested the feasibility of their business idea in the most cost-effective way.

The product offered at a freemium price became popular among music fans, including influential music bloggers from Sweden. They saw the true value in this desktop application and started promoting it further.

In the short run, Spotify enhanced their product by building a mobile app.

This company also decided to develop a minimum viable product with a single prominent feature. The application should allow users to check-in in different places and receive badges as a reward.

As soon as the application became popular, Dennis Crowley and Naveen Selvadurai started iterating their product. They added recommendations, city guides, and other functions.

MVP is a great concept that will help you validate your business ideas in the early days of your startup. With its help, you collect initial feedback from pioneer users and investors without significant expenses. As a result, you can grow a client base and enhance the product.

What is Cross-Platform Development?

Normally when you build a native app you have to build a separate one for Android and a separate one for iOS/Apple, each using that specific platform language. For example, to build for the following platforms you need to use the standard language they recognize:

  • Apple iOS: Program in Objective-C or Swift
  • Android: Program in Java
  • Windows Phone: Program in C# and XAML

Unfortunately, the need for separate platform languages has the following disadvantages:

  1. Expense: Creating and maintaining an app for each operating system is much more expensive.
  2. Knowledge: Programming native mobile apps would require high levels of skill in 2-3 different languages.
  3. Uniformity: Because each platform has its own user interface, standardized widgets and features, apps will not be uniform from platform to platform and will create a different user experience depending on the device. Many people have more than one type of device so when they use your app on iOS and switch over to an Android device, their experience will be different.

Cross platform development provides the flexibility to build your app using a universal language like Javascript which can then be exported to various smartphone platforms. This allows one “app” to work across multiple habitats. This can be done in two ways:

  • Native App – Cross Platform Development – Using tools like React Native, Xamarin, or NativeScript, you end up with an app that still uses native APIs which allows for excellent performance across all platforms, without having to code each separately. This results in a very nice app that runs well and is a great compromise over the time and expense of building a native app.
  • Hybrid Apps – Cross-Platform Development – Hybrid development is a tier lower than native cross-platform development. It relies on a built in web browser and HTML 5, CSS, and Javascript to render the app. The app is coded and then rendered on the smartphone inside an app container which is driven by an internal web browser. In hybrid apps, developers program using native web languages but wrap it in a native wrapper for each operating system, thus rendering it usable across multiple platforms. This can work OK for simple apps but in more complex apps, performance could be an issue.

Advantages of Cross Platform Development

There are 7 advantages to using cross-platform development:

  • Expenses are reduced as the need to code in two or three separate languages disappears. In addition bugs that are present in the common code base need only be fixed once (for the most part).
  • Time to market is reduced since developing one program takes a lot less time than building two or three apps for each device platform.
  • Uniformity increases between different operating systems creating a more seamless user experience.
  • Companies are able to reach many more customers right from the get-go which increases exposure and future ROI.
  • The development tools are familiar as they employ common programming languages.
  • It is ideal for prototyping because it allows a faster time to market on more than one platform and allows the owner to collect user feedback, establish a position in the market and secure any patents if necessary, before another company can do the same.
  • In the case of apps used by employees, cross platform apps can help you achieve quicker deployment and adoption at a lower cost, since bring your own device (BYOD) policies are becoming more and more common in the workplace.

Disadvantages of Cross Platform Development

There are some disadvantages to using cross-platform development:

  • Programs can be less efficient. This occurs due to lack of hardware power to perform smooth HTML5 animations on low or mid range devices, redundant processes for the different platforms, or running on operating systems that are more than 3 years old.
  • The program itself may need to be more generalized and in the process become less sophisticated than it would if it were built for one specific program.
  • Using advanced features with cross platform development may take more battery power and a lot more resources than with a native application.

How Decision Support Systems Benefit the Healthcare Industry

If you’re looking for a way to improve patient care and make your healthcare organization run more efficiently, you should consider investing in a special software – a decision support system. Decision Support Systems (DSS) have been shown to benefit the healthcare industry in a number of ways, including reducing costs, improving quality of care, and increasing patient satisfaction.

What is Decision Support Systems in the Healthcare Industry

Decision support systems (DSS) are computer programs that help users make better decisions. Healthcare decision support systems (HDSS) are a type of DSS that specifically help healthcare professionals make better decisions.

There are many ways in which HDSS can benefit the healthcare industry. One of the most important is by reducing the reliance on experience and intuition when making decisions. This is especially important in situations where there is a lot of data to process or where the consequences of a decision are high.

HDSS can also help standardize decision-making processes. This can be important in ensuring that all healthcare professionals are using the same criteria when making decisions. It can also help to improve communication between different members of the healthcare team, as everyone will be aware of the decision-making process that was used.

Finally, HDSS can help to improve the quality of decisions that are made. This is because HDSS use algorithms that take into account all relevant factors when making a decision. This means that HDSS can often identify potential problems that human decision-makers might overlook.

By providing data-driven decision making tools, DSS can help organizations to improve patient care, streamline operations, and make better use of resources.

DSS can be used to support a wide range of decision making processes in healthcare, from diagnosis and treatment planning to resource allocation and staff scheduling. By helping organizations to make more informed decisions, DSS can lead to improved patient outcomes and higher levels of satisfaction among both patients and staff.

There are a number of different types of DSS available, each designed to support specific types of decision making. Some common examples of DSS include clinical decision support systems (CDSS), financial decision support systems (FDSS), and operational decision support systems (ODSS).

How Decision Support Systems Can Improve Patient Care

Decision support systems (DSS) are a type of computerized system that helps healthcare professionals make better decisions. DSS systems provide users with the ability to access and analyze patient data, make recommendations based on that data, and track the outcomes of decisions.

DSS systems have the potential to improve patient care in a number of ways. First, DSS systems can help healthcare professionals more quickly identify patients who are at risk for certain conditions or who may need more aggressive treatment. Second, DSS systems can help to standardize care by providing Decision rule sets that guide clinicians in making decisions about patient care. Finally, DSS systems can help track the outcomes of care decisions and identify areas where improvements can be made.

Overall, DSS systems offer a number of potential benefits for healthcare organizations. By helping to improve decision-making, DSS systems can play a role in improving patient care quality and outcomes.

The Importance of Decision Support Systems in Healthcare

The healthcare industry is rapidly evolving and becoming increasingly complex. In such a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, it is essential for healthcare organizations to have a robust decision support system (DSS) in place.

DSSs are computerized systems that help decision-makers in organizations by providing them with the latest data and analytics, as well as modeling and simulation capabilities. By doing so, DSSs enable healthcare organizations to make more informed and evidence-based decisions.

There are many different types of DSSs, but all of them share the same basic goal: to support decision-makers in making better decisions. Some of the most popular types of DSSs used in:

  • healthcare include clinical decision support systems (CDSSs),
  • financial decision support systems (FDSSs),
  • administrative decision support systems (ADSSs).

Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSSs) are designed to help clinicians in making better clinical decisions. CDSSs do this by providing clinicians with up-to-date data, evidence-based guidelines, and clinical decision algorithms.

Financial Decision Support Systems (FDSSs) are designed to help financial decision-makers in healthcare organizations make better decisions about resource allocation and spending. FDSSs do this by providing users with data about costs, quality, outcomes, and other important factors.

Administrative Decision Support Systems (ADSSs) are designed to help administrative decision-makers in healthcare organizations make better decisions about organizational strategy, planning, and operations. ADSSs do this by providing users with data about organizational performance, demographics, trends, etc.

The Benefits of Decision Support Systems for Physicians

Decision support systems (DSS) are computer programs that help physicians make better clinical decisions. DSS provide evidence-based recommendations, resources, and decision tools to help physicians select the best course of action for their patients.

DSS have been found to improve the quality of care, decrease costs, and increase patient satisfaction. In one study, DSS were associated with a 36% reduction in hospital admissions and a 28% reduction in length of stay. In another study, DSS were associated with a decrease in lab tests and X-rays ordered by physicians.

DSS are becoming increasingly popular in healthcare as more organizations seek to improve the quality and efficiency of care. Many commercial DSS are now available, and many electronic health record (EHR) systems include DSS functionality.

The Benefits of DSS for Hospitals

Decision support systems for Hospitals are computer programs that help decision makers use data and models to solve problems. DSS are interactive, flexible and adaptable, offering users the ability to access and analyze data in real time.

DSS have been used in a variety of industries for many years, but their use in healthcare is relatively new. Hospitals and other healthcare organizations are beginning to see the potential benefits of using DSS to improve patient care and reduce costs.

One of the main benefits of DSS is that they can help hospitals make better decisions about patient care. DSS can provide decision makers with access to more data and better models, which can lead to improved decision making.

Another benefit of DSS is that they can help hospitals save money. By helping hospitals make better decisions about patient care, DSS can help reduce the number of unnecessary tests and procedures. This can lead to both direct cost savings for hospitals as well as indirect cost savings through improved patient outcomes.

In addition, DSS can help improve communication between different parts of the hospital. By providing a common platform for data and decision making, DSS can help ensure that everyone involved in a patient’s care is on the same page. This improved communication can lead to better coordination of care and improved patient outcomes.

The Future of Decision Support Systems in Healthcare

Decision support systems (DSS) have been used in various industries for decades, but their use in healthcare is relatively new. Despite this, their use is growing rapidly as more and more organizations realize the benefits that DSS can provide.

DSS can be used to support decision making at all levels within an organization, from frontline staff to senior managers. They can be used to provide better patient care, improve operational efficiency, and make better use of scarce resources.

There are many different types of DSS, but all share a common goal: to help decision makers make better decisions. The most common type of DSS is analytical, which uses data and analytics to help identify patterns and trends. Other types of DSS include rule-based systems, which rely on a set of rules or guidelines to help decision makers; simulation-based systems, which allow decision makers to test different scenarios; and knowledge-based systems, which encode the knowledge of experts into a system that can be used by decision-makers.

DSS are increasingly being used in healthcare to support a wide range of decisions, from diagnosis and treatment selection to resource allocation and goal setting. Their use is likely to grow even further in the future as more organizations realize the benefits that they can provide.

As the healthcare industry continues to evolve, so too must the decision support systems that practitioners rely on to make informed decisions. And while there are many different directions that these systems could go in, it seems increasingly likely that artificial intelligence (AI) will play a major role in their future.

The impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on drug development is often compared to the impact of digital technologies on the music industry. In both cases, AI is seen as a potential game-changer that can bring about significant efficiency gains and cost savings. However, there are also challenges associated with the adoption of AI in drug development, including the need for specialized skills and expertise, and the potential for disruptions to existing workflows. In this blog, we will explore the benefits, challenges

The Impact of Decision Support Systems on Healthcare

Decision support systems (DSS) have been around for decades, but their impact on healthcare has been sporadic. A DSS is a computer program that supports decision-making by providing access to relevant information. DSSs are typically used in situations where there is no single “correct” answer, but rather a need to evaluate different options and make a decision based on specific criteria.

Healthcare is an industry where DSSs can have a significant impact. The ability to quickly access and analyze large amounts of data can help clinicians and managers make better-informed decisions about patient care, resource allocation, and other critical issues.

There is evidence that DSSs can improve the quality of care and efficiency of healthcare organizations. One study found that hospitals that implemented a DSS saw a significant reduction in length of stay and cost per patient. Another study found that a DSS helped nurses identify potential problems earlier and make more efficient use of their time.

Kanda Software is a custom development company specializing in software for the healthcare industry. They have a wide range of experience in developing software for healthcare providers, payers, and pharmaceutical companies.

What is a headless CMS

A headless content management system (CMS) is a back-end software that helps you manage the content on your website. It’s “headless” because it serves your content as data that can be used by any number of front-ends, or “heads,” like a website, mobile app, or voice assistant.

Introduction: What is a headless CMS?

A headless content management system (CMS) is a CMS that only has a back-end, designed from the bottom up as a content repository. It makes all of your content accessible through a RESTful API so it can be displayed on any device.

A headless CMS is not the same as a traditional monolithic CMS, which uses a templating language to deliver your content to be displayed on a web page. With a headless CMS, your content is created once and made accessible through an API, no matter what platform will be consuming it.

The advantage of this is that you can construct any sort of digital experience you can dream up, from a website to a native mobile app to a connected device or something else entirely new. Also, since there’s no templating language confining you to one particular delivery platform, you’re able to switch platforms whenever you want without having to start your website from scratch all over again.

The benefits of using a headless CMS

There are many advantages to using a headless CMS. One of the most important is that it decouples the backend from the frontend. This allows developers to work on different parts of the stack independently, making it easier to scale different parts of the stack independently.

Another advantage of a headless CMS is that it fosters a better separation of concerns. The system takes care of content authoring and delivery separately, which makes it simpler to manage complex workflows and keep the systems running smoothly.

A headless CMS also gives you more leeway in terms of choosing frontend technologies. The backend and frontend are not connected, so you can use any frontend technology that you want. This means that you are not restricted to using one particular technology stack.

In conclusion, a headless CMS simplifies the process of distributing content to multiple channels. The content is stored in one central location, making it easy to share across different channels. These can include web, mobile, and even IoT devices.

The best open source headless CMS options

A headless CMS is a content management system that doesn’t couple its content with its presentation. In other words, the CMS can be used to manage content, but the frontend is managed by a different system.

Some advantages of using a headless CMS are that you can use any frontend technology and the content is separate from the presentation.

There are a few different open source headless CMS platforms to choose from, each with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. In this article, we’ll explore some of the top open source headless CMS options currently available.

The definition and meaning of a headless CMS

A headless CMS is a CMS without a front-end. In other words, it gives you an api to manage your content, but there is no pre-made front-end. This allows you the freedom to create any kind of front-end you want, using any technologies you want.

A headless CMS is often much more lightweight than a traditional, monolithic CMS. It also is typically much more developer friendly, as it is usually very easy to set up and get started with.

A potential downside to using a headless CMS is that it can be tricky to locate comprehensive documentation and support. This is due to the fact that they are still relatively new, and because there are various options available.

A potential drawback is that because they are not as robust, they might not have all the features you would find in a more traditional CMS. However, this is usually compensated for by the fact that they are easier to extend and customise.

The features of a headless CMS

A headless content management system (CMS) is a back-end only content management system (CMS) designed specifically as a content repository that can be accessed via an API for display on any device.

A headless CMS is a powerful engine that runs in the background and delivers content to various devices or platforms. The “front end” or “presentation layer” is decoupled from the “back end” where the actual content is stored and managed, which is where the name “headless” comes from.

A headless CMS offers more flexibility for developers to use their chosen technologies for the presentation layer, as opposed to a traditional CMS which couples the two together. This also allows non-technical users to manage and update content from the backend CMS, without having to edit any code.

A headless CMS provides many advantages, one of which is that it allows your digital properties to stay current by decoupling them from any one specific technology stack. For example, if you need to change your website from PHP to Node.js, you can do so without having to transfer all of your content into a new system—you can simply update your website application to work with the API of your headless CMS.

Furthermore, a headless CMS saves all your content in one central location, making it simpler to recycle that content for multiple digital channels—including your website, mobile app, smart devices, connected products, and so on—without needing to duplicate effort or keep different systems.

Examples of headless CMS in use

A headless content management system (CMS) is a back-end only content management system (CMS) designed specifically as a content repository that can be accessed via an API for display on any device.

A headless CMS can be used to power websites, mobile apps, in-car systems, smart TVs, digital signage, and any other digital experience you can think of.

There are many different types of headless CMSs on the market today. Some are compiled for specific programming languages, while others work with any language. Some are open source, while others are commercial products. Some focus on user experience and offer strong editorial features, while others focus on performance and scalability. And some are built specifically for developers, while others are designed for business users.

Here are some examples of headless CMS in use:

  • ButterCMS is a great way to automate your blog posts. It’s easy to use and compatible with most blogging platforms. Plus, it has a built-in content curation tool and promotion features.
Contentful is a great way to automate your blog posts. It’s easy to use and compatible with most blogging platforms. Plus, it has a wide range of features that will help you create and curate content. And finally, it’s easy to promote your blog posts once they’re published.
  • Drupal is a great platform for automating your blog posts. There are a few things to keep in mind if you’re thinking about using Drupal for your blogging needs. First, you’ll want to make sure that the software or plugin you’re using is compatible with your blogging platform. Second, you’ll need to have a plan for creating and curating content. And finally, you’ll want to consider how you’ll promote your blog posts once they’re published.
  • Be strategic about the keywords you target. You’ll want to choose keywords that have high search volume but aren’t too competitive. This will help you attract readers who are actually interested in what you have to say.
  • Don’t forget to promote your autoblog! Social media is a great way to get the word out about your blog and attract new readers. You can also guest post on other blogs or collaborate with other bloggers in your niche. By taking these steps, you’ll be well on your way to success with your autoblogging venture!

Why use a headless CMS?

There are many advantages to using a headless CMS, which is a content management system that allows you to create and manage your content without a graphical user interface. These benefits include:

  • Any device or platform can be used to manage your content.
  • Automating content updates can be simpler.
  • A headless CMS can be less expensive to keep up than a traditional CMS.

Conclusion: The benefits of using a headless CMS

Some advantages of using a headless CMS are:

  • By decoupling the front-end and back-end of your website or application, you can make it simpler to oversee and grow each one independently.
  • A headless CMS can be used with any type of front-end framework, providing you with more flexibility for how you construct your site or application.
  • One of the benefits of using a headless CMS is that you can change your front-end technology stack without affecting your back-end content management.

In general, a headless CMS can provide more flexibility, scalability, and efficiency when it comes to managing and constructing contemporary websites and apps.

Outsource Website Design in 2023: Benefits, Process, Cost

For businesses that want to get their website design project done quickly and efficiently, outsourcing is the way to go. By working with a team of developers who are experts in the field, businesses can save time and money while still getting a high-quality end product. Here are some of the benefits and process of outsourcing website design.

Why outsource website design?

When you outsource website design, you can focus on your core competencies and leave the design work to experts. This can save you time and money, and it can also ensure that your website is designed to meet the latest standards and best practices.

In addition, by outsourcing website design you can tap into a global pool of talent to get the best possible results. And because outsourced designers are usually paid on a project basis, you don’t have to worry about the overhead costs associated with hiring in-house staff.

If you’re thinking about outsourcing website design, here are some things to keep in mind:

1. Define your project scope and objectives. Before you start looking for designers, take some time to think about what you want to achieve with your website. Do you need a simple informational site, or do you need something more complex, like an e-commerce site? Once you have a clear idea of your goals, you can start looking for designers who have experience with projects of similar scope and complexity.

2. Do your research. When you’re looking for potential designers, it’s important to do your homework and make sure they have a good reputation. You can read online reviews, check out their portfolio of past work, and even ask for referrals from people you know who have used their services.

3. Get quotes from multiple designers. Once you’ve found a few designers who seem like they might be a good fit for your project, it’s time to get quotes from each of them. Be sure to ask about their process, timeline, and pricing so that you can compare apples to apples before making a decision.

4. Ask for revisions and edits along the way. Once the initial design is complete, be sure to ask for revisions and edits until you’re happy with the results. Many designers offer unlimited revisions as part of their service, so be sure to take advantage of this if it’s offered.

Outsourcing website design can save you time and money while ensuring that your site is designed by experts. By doing your research and asking for revisions along the way, you can be sure that you’ll end up with a finished product that meets all of your expectations

The process of outsourcing website design.

Assuming you have decided to take the plunge and outsource your website design, the next step is to determine what kind of design services you need. This can be tricky, as there are so many different types of designers out there, all with their own specialties and skillsets.

There are a few key questions you should ask yourself before contacting any designers:

  • What is the purpose of my website?
  • Who is my target audience?
  • What kind of look and feel do I want for my website?
  • What functionality do I need on my website?
  • How much am I willing to budget for this project?

Answering these questions will help you determine what kind of designer you need to be looking for. Do you need a comprehensive service that covers everything from strategy to implementation, or are you looking for someone to simply build out a design that you already have in mind? Once you know what you need, your next step is to find the right designer for the job.

There are a few different ways to go about this. You can use online directories or job boards that allow you to post your project and receive bids from interested designers. Or, you can take a more personal approach and reach out to designers whose work you admire and see if they would be interested in working on your project. Whichever route you choose, be sure to take some time to review portfolios and get a sense of each designer’s style before making your decision.

The benefits of outsourcing website design

There are many benefits of outsourcing website design, including cost savings, access to skilled labor, and increased efficiency.

Outsourcing website design can be a great way to save money on your project. You can often find designers who are willing to work for less than you would pay for in-house staff. In addition, you may be able to find discounts or special rates when you outsource website design.

Outsourcing also gives you access to skilled labor that you might not be able to find in-house. When you outsource website design, you can choose from a pool of designers with different skills and experience levels. This allows you to find the right designer for your project, and it also allows you to get more bang for your buck.

Finally, outsourcing website design can increase the efficiency of your project. When you outsource, you can often get the project done faster than if you were to do it in-house. This is because the designers who work for outsourcing companies are usually more experienced and familiar with the process of designing websites. As a result, they can often get the job done quicker and with fewer errors.

The Total Cost of outsourcing website design.

Many businesses are outsourcing their website design to save money. But how much does it really cost to outsource website design? Here are some factors to consider:

1. The size of your website: The more pages and features your website has, the more it will cost to outsource design.

2. The complexity of your website: If your website is complex, with many features or a custom design, it will cost more to outsource than a simple website.

3. The experience of the designer: More experienced designers will charge more for their services. However, you may be able to get a discount if you use a less experienced designer.

4. The location of the designer: Designers in developed countries will charge more than designers in developing countries. However, you may be able to get a lower price if you are willing to work with a designer in a developing country.

Average total cost is: $1 500 to $35 000 on Design Stage.

The best website design outsourcing companies.

There are many reasons to choose an outsourcing company for your website design needs. Maybe you don’t have the in-house resources to tackle a large project. Maybe you need a team of experts to handle a complex eCommerce redesign. Or maybe you simply want to free up your time so you can focus on running your business.

There are a lot of website design outsourcing companies to choose from, but not all of them are created equal. To help you choose the right partner for your next project, we’ve compiled a list of the best website design outsourcing companies.

There are many website design outsourcing companies to choose from, so it is important to do your research before selecting one. Make sure to ask for client references and check out the company’s portfolio to get an idea of their work.

Once you have selected a few website design outsourcing companies, contact them and discuss your project in detail. Get quotes from each company and compare them before making a final decision.

How to outsource website design effectively.

Websites are a crucial part of any business in the modern world, and an effective website can make all the difference to your bottom line. However, many businesses find the process of designing and building a website to be complex and overwhelming. The good news is that there are now plenty of options available for businesses who want to outsource website design.

When it comes to outsourcing website design, there are a few key things to keep in mind in order to make the process as smooth and effective as possible:

  • Define your goals: What do you want your website to achieve? Make sure you have a clear idea of your goals before you start working with any outside designers or agencies.
  • Do your research: Not all web design firms are created equal. Take some time to research different firms and find one that matches your needs and budget.
  • Set a budget: Website design can be costly, so it’s important to set a realistic budget before you start working with anyone. Get quotes from multiple firms before making a final decision.

TOP 6 Growing Web Design Trends for 2023

It’s needless to say how crucial web design is for achieving business goals. Just look at these impressive stats:

  • 50% of consumers believe that website design is crucial to a business’s overall brand.
  • 75% of consumers admit judging a company’s credibility based on the company’s website design

Web design trends are recurring, but trends for 2022-2023 will stand out for several reasons, including the impact of the pandemic, recession and a shift to mobile-first technologies. The latest website design trends also focus on a personalized and minimalist interface.

In this article, we listed the latest tendencies that will shape the future of web design.

Let’s get started!

Why is Web Design Important for Business?

Website design and development are essential for business transformation. It is often the very first step of interaction with potential clients. So your website should be a part of your overall strategy and align with your objectives.

Keep in mind that the website design also depends on the business area and customer type. A website of a B2B company has different goals and user models from retail platforms.

Make sure the ideas offered by your designers are applicable and relevant for your sphere.

Top 6 Innovative Web Design Trends for 2023

Elements like navigation, content, and graphic design will remain essential for building an outstanding website design. However, they will be shaped by the upcoming tendencies.

The following trends are going to dominate in the web design sector in 2022 and beyond. Please note that it is not necessary to follow all the trends at once. You can use only some of the trends for your projects to make them better and more efficient. Well, let’s get started!

1. Content Personalization and AI

Salesforce’s “State of the Connected Customer 2020” report found that 66% of customers say they expect companies to understand their needs and expectations. This pertains to business aspects. With personalization ruling the game in digital marketing and sales, it’s hard to overlook this trend in web design. Personalized content helps establish trustworthy relationships between the client and the brand.

2. Light and Dark Modes

This is a great web design element to consider in 2022, as this feature plays a crucial role in enhancing the user experience. Develop a color scheme that would fit both dark and light modes without harming visibility. Most users enjoy such options that give them more control.

3. One-page Websites

Why make multiple website pages when only one page can be informative enough. They work best if they are dedicated to a narrow topic. This new concept is most popular for websites-portfolios or presentations of a single product. Users don’t need to search multiple pages to find what they need. Hence, this is a top option to ensure they read till the end.

One-page websites don’t distract users with menus and navigation elements. While creating a one-page website, pay attention to the amount of text placed there and the number of screens. Check out web design inspirations for single-page websites to see how they work.

4. Minimalism

This is not a brand new web design trend. This strategy has been around for many years. Yet, designers have brought innovation to a conventional minimalist style. According to Goodfirms, 84.6% of web designers believe crowded web design is the most common mistake made by small businesses. Modern web design trends dictate that there should be minimum interactions before the users make the final step. Simple, clear, and airy websites don’t overload their users.

“Less is more” – is an essential web and graphic design principle. Less text, pastel colors, catchy CTAs, and a clear user experience are the key rules for website pages. Instead of overwhelming your users, encourage them to learn more and explore other pages. Use enough space between different website scrolls to prevent overloading users. Many designers have modified the traditional concept of white space. Minimalist design can also be colorful. The message should be simple not to lose potential leads.

5. Large and Playful Text

Text may replace images and play their role, becoming as interactive, meaningful, and attention-grabbing as images are. While experimenting with innovative fonts, pay attention to how it displays on mobile and tablet devices. Find out how to boost their effect on website visitors and adjust them to the whole company image. Animate your text to create a more interactive experience and boost user flow.

While adding such an attention-grabbing text, consider how other elements look. Ensure that the CTAs and buttons are visible and the smaller text and images are balanced.

6. Human-like Chatbots

Apart from design matters, growing web design trends also include user experience. AI-based bots make interactions with potential customers more convenient and fast.

According to a report by Drift, 55% of businesses that use chatbots generate more high-quality leads. Human-like chatbots use advanced algorithms to communicate with users like real people. They collect user contact information 24/7. Such bots can predict user intents and give efficient responses.

Ending Note about Web Design Trends

Remember that website design should convey your business values to users. The focus of modern web design is lightness, conciseness, and minimalism. While working with web designers, focus on essential elements that deliver the most sense. Hopefully, our overview of the latest trends in web designing helped you come up with outstanding and efficient decisions.

7 Design Trends for Web Designers to adhere in 2022

It’s 2022! So, brands should take their website design strategies seriously! A website is usually the initial reference point for online users, who’ve come across a new brand. If they like navigating a website, then they will follow the brand’s social media profiles as a natural fall out. On the other hand, if they don’t like the navigation experience, they will bounce off from the website at the earliest.

As 2022 is settling in, it is bringing new web design trends and goals that brands need to stay aware of. There have been some remarkable advancements in display technology for most devices that online users use for browsing through web content. And if today, web designers want to go a little more prominent on colors and loud on text, they would succeed than fail. In fact, it is a time when web designers can enjoy interesting tweaks in web design strategy.

The Best Web Design Trends of 2022

Some of the trends, for instance, gradients, are back again. And now it’s all about dynamic gradients. So, if the flat design takes a backseat, then in 2020, it will have no future. Dynamic gradients have the potential to occupy the entire space, at least in 2020, and even in 2021.

On the other hand, we have pioneers like Apple and Google, that supports flat design. And that might result in an interesting blend of colors and depth in 2020, in a minimalistic way. In the past few months, it became evident that flat design accommodates more energetic and deeper color tones. One can get experimental with it when there’s a need for it.

The eCommerce websites are gaining popularity

Today, eCommerce is a huge section, and eCommerce websites are becoming highly popular! Website designers here are trying to give the online customers precisely what they need when it comes to interface and user experience. They also provide apt visual appeal. The best eCommerce design patterns for 2021 and 2022 are mostly to concentrate on simplicity, navigation ease, speed, and usability. The faster a customer can browse through an eCommerce website, make a purchase, pay, and leave the website, the better it is for the website and the customer. So, web designers can tweak as many trends they want, but it is necessary to cater to the basic requirements.

The other essential web design trends to watch out for are:

Simple design and bold colors

Today, the brands are trying their best to emerge visible and prominent amongst a sea of other market players. Hence, more websites are keen on using bright colors and bold characters. One can mull about supersaturation. The deep and brilliant colors are immersive. They also grab maximum attention, and that’s what most online brands want.

Today, most of the brands have safe web designs! So, to go against the trend suggests a brand is keen to experiment. It also shows that a brand is progressive and is completely comfortable in portraying a different, distinguished, and an eccentric personality. And this distinctive element, along with the quirkiness, results in an increased brand loyalty. Today, the majority of device screens are embracing the IPS technology. And that is a huge step towards making bold colors stand out impressively, for the world to enjoy the same.

Animations, dynamic illustrations, and integrated GIFS

The trend of video content became popular in 2017. However, the sluggish page load issues are creating a hindrance. Slow page loading often makes a website lose its users. Motion graphics are highly popular with readers all over the world. Is there anything that is replacing videos? Yes, and it’s getting replaced by animation. There are a few ways in which animation technology can bite, such as:

  • There can be the mouseover effects.
  • There could also be a transition between the parallax and page scrolling.
  • Mobile animation.

The motion graphics can take much lesser time to load in comparison to the motion graphics. These motion graphics go a long way in adding the desired jazz and persona to a brand’s entire look and feel. Also, when web designers execute this correctly with custom illustrations and GIFs, it can assist in demonstrating the brand’s story in a better way. The brand storytelling evolves significantly. The brand looks more confident to the audience.

Mobile animation takes center stage here! The mobile-first was a web design trend for some time. And right after the mobile technology boom, today, it has the chance to carry on the drive for mobile animation in 2020. The trend is all set to see a new paradigm in the years to follow. On the other hand, illustration can make it simpler for brands to explain the ways to use their brand easily to customers. Also, the eCommerce sites can make use of the custom illustrations for helping the online shoppers move through each product page and check the way the product works. They can also figure out the way to use shopping carts and filters.

Also, the more serious brands can opt-in for custom illustration and animation for adding a little bit of fun to the website. It also helps to retain the reader’s attention on the webpage. With several advancements in the AI, web-based, as well as the big-data technologies, 3D effects, and animation, the data visualization is less bland and stringent. One of the significant stipulations with animation is that one has to get careful about the mobile site visitors. Based on the nature and size of the device, it might get complicated and sometimes impossible to offer a similar experience for mobile customers. Web designers can come up with various ways to make use of the animation technologies to make the brand and customer bond stronger.

The asymmetric layouts

Today, the majority of the website have neat bland fields and grids. They are playing it safe. Well-arranged webpages are useful. However, in 2021 the asymmetrical trend is gaining prominence as it gives the website the required percentage of enthusiasm, fun, and character.

Personalized websites are leveraging this trend to a great extent. The broken grid-format is much popular and appealing because of its innate uniqueness and assertiveness. However, it is necessary to use this trend in your favor very carefully.

If your brand has ample live content, then the asymmetric layout might not work for you! It can result in chaotic user experience, and you might lose users. Hence, if your website has more live content, say yes to a more well-defined, customized design. That is what will keep the users happy and content.

The trick to have a great website design is to get the symmetry in balance! And if you want the asymmetric layout to be in balance, it is necessary to make sure that the web pages aren’t heavy in any way or any section. Making use of big and high-definition images is perfectly fine. But you must balance it correctly with space, text, and various other aspects.

Regardless of the complexity of the website design, the viewer always looks at the more prominent on-page elements right at the start. After that, they shift their attention to various other allied parts.

CSS Grids

It is one of the essential trends that web designers need to delve in! Recently, online brands need to decide if they want a desktop-only or a mobile-only website. And the website designs must get the sites configured. It will help them to know about the device which users are resorting to. Hence, the user can get directed to a single website version that caters to their device size.

The fact that people use their mobile more for browsing became official in 2017. But people were using their mobile devices, even before that. Hence, an intelligent CSS grid provides a stunning choice for flexing one’s website in various versions to cater to a person’s device screen size. And if you think from the end-user’s point of view, it is one of the essential responsive design trends recently.

The mobile traffic rates today outshine desktop traffic volumes. It is the same across the globe. It is interesting to note that Google carries on explaining its bias towards mobile-friendly websites, and that explains why the mobile-first website is essential.

The CSS grid is one of the recent developments in responsive web design. It makes sure that an online visitor has a high-end user experience while navigating a website, regardless of the type and size of the computing device they are using. This layout enables the website owners to manage the content in columns and rows which complement the user screen size. It ensures that there is maximum user engagement as well.

These are some of the essential trends in website design technology in 2020.  Web designers can abide by these trends and come up with the best strategies. It will help the websites to rank better and also offer a pleasant user experience.

What to Add to a Dating App to Improve Security

Most people understand that having a reputable dating app on their mobile is probably the most important step toward a busy love life (source). And it is even more vital for the members of the LGBTQ community, as being gay or lesbian means you have to choose from a smaller pool of partners.

Because of the growing popularity of online dating sites and apps, it makes sense to take advantage of this multi-billion-dollar industry and compete with your own app. But, to make it work, it is essential to make your users feel confident about their security. After all, you will collect an abundance of personally identifiable information to deliver the best service. And these things matter a lot when creating a lesbian dating app because many of your users would not want people around them to know about their sexuality yet.

Thankfully, there are ways to make your dating app a lot safer and more attractive for your target audience.

Make Use of the Fingerprint Feature

For starters, help protect your users by allowing them to keep everything behind a fingerprint scanner. The idea is to give them a way to lock the app and prevent unauthorized access to their account, which is essential when creating a high-class gay or lesbian dating app since people of the LGBT community usually opt for safer options among available apps.

The biggest advantage of fingerprint scanners is that they are not susceptible to “over-the-shoulder” leaks, unlike PINs, which a casual observer may easily guess. Therefore, fingerprint phone locks are the most reliable method of protection from snooping eyes.

This method of blocking the entrance to the app is very simple and will not complicate either access to lesbian dating or use of the service itself.

Take Advantage of Facial Recognition

Just like fingerprint scanners, you can embed the facial recognition feature in your dating app. You might have to work with third-party service providers to scan your users and ensure they are genuine people.

With the benefits of this technology, you can establish order in your dating app and keep members safe so they may feel comfortable opening up to one another. You can use it as a verification tool to stop people from making multiple accounts or abusing the perks of new accounts, all while providing a smooth experience for the consumer.

Do Not Ignore SSL Encryption

Many people think that SSL encryption is only for dating sites, but that is not always true. Your app can benefit from it as well.

Purchasing an SSL certificate is the only way to guarantee the total safety of your mobile app. These allow you to serve your app over HTTPS, giving users peace of mind that your mobile app is secure. Thus, every gay man and every lesbian woman looking for a woman will enjoy online dating without worrying about having their data leaked.

Opt for 2-Factor Authentication

It means your members do not have to rely on their password alone to use your dating app. But they will be able to use it when they get a secret code on their mobile phone.

Many web services and social media use multi-factor authentication, and lesbian dating apps are no exception. Add 2FA is an excellent option because no one else can use someone else’s account even if they somehow gain access to their passwords. It also means every member on your dating app has to share their phone number, which makes the whole platform a lot safer for every member. However, this method may add a few extra steps to start dating online, but as an additional security option it works great.

Make Profile Verification Feature Mandatory

Top dating apps are getting stricter about this, checking out profiles and ensuring they are legit before letting users in. You should be ready to do the same to make your dating app a real success.

The idea is to act as a gatekeeper and deter scammers and other opportunists who aim to take advantage of the apps’ users.

Always Add a Report Function to the App

It is important to have additional layers of security in place in case any non-compliant users manage to get past the basic profile verification mechanism.

For this reason, it is crucial to provide your users with reactive security features, such as report functions. It enables your members to report inappropriate content for you to see and take action against those scammers. Ensure that your support team offers an update after the investigation is complete to help restore faith in your platform and appease the user who reported the issue.

It is even better to let your users have full control over who they do not want them to see online. In other words, you should have a “block” feature added to your lesbian platform to save your members from receiving spam or other undesirable messages. It is vital for everyone but is of great importance for lesbian women seeking women, who are often the target of hate messages.

Dating apps work amazingly well to bring people close to their potential matches and are a lifesaver when fishing in a small pool of gay or lesbian singles. If you could find a way to deliver a smooth matchmaking experience, you will notice your dating app grow in a short time and help you earn good money in the process. Just be sure to add all the right features to your app and never ignore the importance of keeping your members safe to win their trust and build a solid community.

List of Top Mobile App Development Companies | World’s Best Mobile App Developers

What is the importance of mobile apps?

Mobile applications simply explained, are software programs that are specially developed for smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices to enhance their functionality and edutainment value. Mobile applications are developed around utilities like sports, fitness, news, shopping, navigation, etc.

With more and more people spending more time online, particularly on their mobile devices to read the news, buy goods and services, book their travel, manage their finances, etc. no business today can afford to be off this digital bandwagon. More and more business are realizing that reaching out to millions of consumers across the world and exploring unknown markets through mobile devices requires more a mobile-friendly website. You need dedicated applications to interact with your consumers. Here are some reasons why your business absolutely needs a mobile application:

Mobile applications help you reach directly to your existing and prospective consumers with offers, product ranges, search feature, their account, notifications, etc. Mobile applications have a great feature of push notifications because of which the consumers do not have to go out looking for information.

A customized, feature-rich, and well-designed application is retentive in the minds of the consumers for a long time to come. It is a very potent form of advertising in the most direct form.

A mobile application transforms the way in which you interact with your consumers. These days applications have inbuilt forms for feedback which can be used to solve challenges and problems. This improves customer loyalty and helps your business stand out from the competition. In the longer run, this results in better profitability and sustainability for your business.

How to choose the best mobile app development company?

In the last two decades, due to advancement in mobile application technology, the need for companies providing enterprise has raised manifolds. These range from start-ups, entrepreneurs, and even Fortune 500 companies. However, very few mobile app development companies have survived amidst the fierce competition. With so many choices, it can get a little overwhelming for businesses to choose from amongst the multiple options. Here is how the best mobile app development company can be chosen:

By having a look at the work portfolio says a lot about the capabilities, capacities, and diversity of the kind of clients that the mobile app development company has had. This is the best way to get to know the expertise of the team and the way they have handled the projects. The number of years of experience that a company is also a good indication of their stability in the market.

This is the most impartial way to know the capabilities and delivery capacity of a mobile app development company. You should check for favourable customer reviews and feedback before selecting any company.

The prospective mobile app development company should have a security plan to safeguard the idea, concept, and execution of your application in place. They should be ready to sign a non-disclosure agreement exclusively for your application.

You should choose companies only after assessing their style of execution and delivery timeline. This means clearly laying down the number of days that they will take in producing your mobile application so that there are no shortfalls in the delivery and delays in project execution.

Which Questions to Ask App Development Team Before You Hire Them?

In order to make a better decision while choosing a mobile app development company, there are certain questions that you need to ask them. Here is a list of questions:

This is a critical factor that decides the success or failure of any app development project. A dedicated team at the mobile app development side with the requisite amount of experience and capability has a direct correlation with the success of the project.

This is again an important question to ask the mobile app developers. You need to be clear about each stage of delivery and understand if the team will share shippable software and manage the coding, testing, and bug fixing efficiently.

There is a possibility that you share a prototype of your software with your end users and there is important feedback that needs to be incorporated. The team should be flexible enough to adjust the project priorities and make adjustments.

This is the best way to arrest any bugs that might have gotten into the software codes during the production process. This is even more critical as and when the application grows. With new features and codes, it becomes difficult to arrest the bugs. Automated unit tests will alert developers in time before the bugs break anything.

What is the average cost of app development?

Developing a mobile application is not as expensive as it is deemed to be. Once the objectives of the mobile application are defined, it is easy to break down the cost into various elements.

These elements are:

1. Type of mobile application: Whether it is going to be used for entertainment, games, navigation, lifestyle, finance, etc.
2. Platforms: Windows, Android, iOS.
3. Design of the mobile application.
4. Number of pages that you expect the mobile app to have.
5. Type of application and its objectives.
6. Database management.
7. What kind of ERP integrations do you expect?
8. What kind of CRM Integrations do you expect?
9. Mobile API.
10. Content Management System.
11. Analytics: Google Analytics etc.
12. Mobile Payments: PayPal, Bitcoin, PayTM.
13. E-Commerce integration: Use of in-app coupons, and loyalty coupons.
14. Users: Feedback, Email login, social media integration, activity feed, and Accounts.
15. Any extra features: Camera, 3rd Party API, Chat, Gallery, Rating system, QR Codes, Social sharing, etc.

Building a Web-Based CRM-System: Market Leaders’ Experience

Loyal customers are the life force of any successful business, which is why for any business to rise high and win appreciation, it’s important to carefully foster relationships with customers. Sometimes, however, you simply cannot do so without the help of advanced organizational technologies. Over time, the amount of customer data that you need to keep track of may be too much for a simple spreadsheet, and opportunities for success may start passing by you. This is when a Customer Relationship Management system (or CRM system) becomes a necessity.

In a nutshell, a CRM system is an app that allows you to store, organize, and maintain customer contact information, accounts, leads, sales opportunities, and so on – preferably in the cloud so all this vital data is accessible by the sales, marketing, finance, operations, and logistics departments of your company in real-time, on any device. Such cloud CRMs are also known as SaaS CRMs, online CRMs, or web CRMs.

There are lots of solutions in the market, but there are no guarantees that commercial CRM will meet your business needs. Typically, commercial CRM systems have a limited set of features, adding custom addons will take a lot of time and money. Also, with commercial CRMs, you’re dependent on software support. And of course, the commercial CRM may cost your company a pretty penny: for instance, the basic version of Salesforce will cost you $25 per user monthly. So in some cases, it’s much better to develop your own CRM solution.

Today we’re going to talk about how to build a cloud-based customer relationship management system. We’ve carefully analyzed several of the most popular cloud-based CRM apps – Salesforce, SugarCRM, Pipedrive, and some other open-source solutions – and have come up with a set of must-have CRM system features, which will be helpful if you decided to develop an online CRM for a small business. Let’s see what these features are and how we can implement them.

Basic features for your web-based CRM system

  • Address book

What is the central feature of any CRM software? Of course, it’s an address book. Without one, how are you going to collect all the contacts that may come in handy someday? With an address book, you can store all vital information on your prospects and other people who matter to your business – for instance, the CEO of your partner company and the contractor who works at your office. A person’s full name, email address, and links to social networks can be conveniently gathered and stored in one place so anyone can access it if needed.

[Data import in PipeDrive]

Traditionally, new contacts are added to a system manually, but most modern CRM apps can now do this automatically. Salesflare, for example, gathers contact information from email signatures and social profiles. Some companies even build custom APIs that let them automatically drop every new contact into a system (this drop is usually initiated when a prospective client fills out a contact form on the company’s website).

What about existing contacts? You can also give your users the opportunity to import their contacts from other sources or CRM systems. Insightly, for example, lets users import contacts from Gmail and MailChimp accounts or from Excel files; Pipedrive even lets users import existing contacts from other systems like Zoho and Sugar CRM.

  • Leads and deals

As it typically happens, you start tracking your potential customers as “leads,” add some customer information while you’re convincing them that your product or service is worth trying, and finally turn these leads into “deals.” A really effective CRM system should accompany you at every stage of this process, and so your future product should obviously have a place where users can see all of their leads and track their leads’ movements through the sales pipeline – from the first contact to signing a contract. After all, business is business, and helping to move the needle in your sales is actually why CRM systems are built.

Applications like Salesflare and Pipedrive use special board-like interfaces that allow you to see how many deals your company currently has, understand at which stage of the sales pipeline these deals are, and see which of them need your urgent attention. Moreover, these applications let users customize their pipelines to meet the specific business needs of their companies: set as many stages as needed, name them, order them, and so on.

You should also let your users import their leads from existing CSV files or other third-party sources (MailChimp, for example) just as with contacts.

Salespeople know that it’s very important not to lose even minor details while working with prospective clients. Many existing CRM apps have a range of tools that help you remember everything that was said and done during your last conversation with a client. Pipedrive, for example, lets you take notes and upload files from your device so you can have everything you need conveniently filed in one record.

You can also give your users the opportunity to upload files from Google Drive, Dropbox, Amazon S3, and other cloud storage services. Insightly even provides seamless integration with Evernote, so users can link their Evernote items directly to contacts or deals.

Some software, like SalesForce, also provide so-called “smart” BCC functionality. Thanks to this feature, users can copy their emails (sent from external email applications) right to a contact or lead record in Salesforce. Simply enter your Salesforce email address in the BCC field and the email copy will appear inside the application so you can then link it to a certain deal record. Pipedrive provides similar functionality.

  • Activities

Many existing solutions provide built-in scheduling tools that allow users to set reminders for recurring activities and upcoming events, such as calls, follow-ups, and meetings. This way you can make sure that you don’t miss anything important. Pipedrive, for example, allows you to plan your own activities and assign activities to others. The application provides a special dashboard where you can overview the to-do list for your entire sales department.

Insightly uses a different approach to displaying planned events and activities, using a calendar-like board that gives you valuable insights into your sales department’s to-do’s and processes. You can even sync the Insightly calendar with Google Calendar so all your planned activities can smoothly mirrored on another platform without your having to lift a finger. There are a number of APIs that allow you to integrate your app with calendar functionality, including the most popular ones like Google’s Calendar REST API, the Eventful API, and Microsoft’s Outlook Calendar API.

  • Notifications

Your users may want to be notified when important milestones have been achieved, big tasks have been completed, or important activities have been scheduled. Insightly offers special email notifications that are sent when changes or updates are made to tasks or deals. This approach helps users stay up to date on what matters to them.

You can also add real-time notifications to your web CRM app, which is an even more convenient approach since users can instantly receive the freshest information on what’s interesting to them without the need to constantly check their mailboxes.

  • Mobile

Unsurprisingly, support for mobile devices is becoming a must-have for CRM software. To stay on top of the game, modern business people need quick and constant access to their vital data – be it a hot lead’s contact information or the sales statistics for the previous quarter. Immediate access becomes possible thanks to mobile CRM systems. Going mobile provides a greater degree of flexibility and efficiency, which is crucial for the success of any business.

Examples of companies that have already gone mobile are Salesforce, Sugar CRM, Insightly, Pipedrive, Base, and Netsuite. Usually, a mobile version of such an application contains all key functions of the web application – such as contacts, leads, tasks, and statistics – and applies some functionalities that are difficult to implement on the web: push notifications, audio recording, call logging, mapping with nearby contacts, and so forth.

  • Sales reporting

Which of your products sells best? Who is your most effective sales managers? What’s the average number of deals you close monthly? And, finally, how can you improve your results in the future? Sales analytics and reporting have answers to these and many other sales-related questions.

Usually, CRM apps offer dashboards with a number of fields and filters so you can specify a certain time period, channel, and activity and get the data you need. Many apps also let you choose from a variety of view formats: colorful tables, charts, circle diagrams, and so on so you can visualize information the way you want.

Some systems also provide the forecasting functionality as a natural continuation of their reporting functionality. A built-in sales forecasting feature can help sales teams accurately predict future sales growth based on their pipeline of current and potential deals. By integrating your ERP system with sales forecasts, sales teams can adjust their selling strategy to achieve better even results. For example, sales managers can make more informed business decisions on how their team should manage its resource and define tasks and deals their employees have to devote their full attention to.

What to add?

Without a doubt, CRM apps are powerful tools to help businesses track valuable information about their leads, log their interactions with them, and convert these leads into deals. For some businesses, however, tracking, logging, and converting is not enough. If these functionalities are no longer sufficient, businesses may start considering adding some marketing automation features to their existing CRM solutions.

  • Marketing functionality

We can always add a dash of automation to our CRM systems. Using an API, for example, it’s possible to automatically add every new contact when they’ve filled out a form on your website, but marketing automation extensions go a bit further. These tools are tied directly to your website, so they can “stream” new users to a CRM application as soon as they sign up. Moreover, marketing automation tools can monitor your product statistics – where your users come from, which parts of your site they’ve visited, at which point they’ve left, and so on. Having these insights on hand, you can create smart and effective marketing campaigns to nurture your leads.

There are a number of companies that offer CRM apps with embedded marketing automation functionalities, including Salesforce, Intercom, Hubspot, and Instant Customer.

CRM Integrations

Sometimes, it may be really costly and time-consuming to develop all necessary features on your own – for example, marketing automation or project management functionalities. That’s why during the process of SaaS application development you may start considering integrations with different third-party applications. Such integrations may significantly save time and money. Besides, this is common practice among popular CRM vendors. Pipedrive provides integrations with more than 20 third-party apps, including famous ones like Trello, Yesware, Callmaker, MailChimp, and Google Apps.

Insightly has a number of integrations with popular accounting and productivity tools, but its most compelling integration is with Slack. Insightly’s paid subscribers can enjoy communicating with the lovely Insightly Assistant in the Slack messenger. This chatbot comes in handy if you want to find, create, or update your records in the CRM system without leaving Slack. Of course, these aren’t the only capabilities of Insightly Assistant, but that’s another story.

It’s also important to give your users the opportunity to integrate CRM systems with their in-house software (their custom-built accounting and management tools, for example) or perhaps with hardware, such as POS systems. In either case, you’ll need to design an API. APIs enable a seamless exchange of information between applications, which, in turn, enables greater operational consistency and efficiency inside companies.

What to keep in mind

As far as CRM systems keep sensitive company data – customer details, financial data, and more – that’s why it’s very important to give users the security they expect. When developing a CRM solution, you should devote special attention to data encryption, advanced authentication (two-factor authentication), support for different access roles, session timeouts, and other security measures.

If solutions available on the market don’t fully cover all your needs, or you want to get an additional level of security and customization, CRM system development is something you definitely should consider.

Oxygen Builder Tips and Tricks for Beginners

The process of modifying websites, which was formerly the exclusive purview of web programmers and other technically skilled persons, has been revolutionized with the introduction of software applications such as the Oxygen page builder.

Without having to touch any code, Oxygen allows users to make changes to their whole website, including its intelligent features. Oxygen makes it possible for non-programmers to develop and create websites by eliminating the need for them to know HTML and CSS.

Combining original and creative designs with easy instructions that even a beginner can understand and execute successfully. It is simple to comprehend the factors that have contributed to the meteoric rise in popularity of the Oxygen page builder among many webmasters.

The following are a few easy tips and tricks for beginners:

How to just display a subset of thumbnails from the Oxygen Gallery?

You have been entrusted with the creation of a gallery that displays just three thumbnails but provides a lightbox where all ten pictures may be seen in their full quality.

You can get this effect for the Oxygen Gallery by using the following code in your CSS file:

.oxy-gallery-item:nth-child(3) ~ .oxy-gallery-item {

In addition, the required number of thumbnails that should be shown maybe supplied in place of the following piece of code: nth-child (3).

In addition, if your website has many galleries, you may need to provide extra information in the selector (such as the gallery ID) to make a specific reference to the gallery you want to access.

#_gallery-4-426 .oxy-gallery-item:nth-child(3) ~ .oxy-gallery-item {

When you use motion on scroll, elements in the Oxygen editor might vanish.

While defining animation effects in the Oxygen editor, you could run into a situation in which animated components become invisible to the user. Common ways to make the element visible again include refreshing the page or re-selecting the motion effect.

Having to do this each and every time, especially if the page has several different moving pieces, may be a real pain. Simply adding the following CSS to your stylesheet will give you motion effects that are only visible on the front end and permanent visibility in the Oxygen editor.

#ct-builder [data-aos] {
    opacity: 1;
    transform: translate(0) scale(1);

Margin is required for the Section element in Oxygen; however, you cannot figure out how to add it.

By default, the margin customization options for Oxygen Section elements are not available for use. On the other hand, adding a margin is very simple to accomplish within the Section settings of the Advanced > Custom CSS menu.

If you need to add the same margins to several sections, you should create a class for the Section and then add a custom CSS for this class. Simply apply this style to any and all Sections that need margins that are the same throughout the document.

Oxygen’s mobile viewport has an option called Animate On Scroll.

When scrolling, some of the biggest Oxygen Builder Agency find it crucial to animate a component that is only available on desktops. There are two distinct ways to disable animation on scrolling in Oxygen: the first is for more significant breakpoints, while the second is for less significant ones.

A choice that may be made across the board is to pause the animation.

To turn off the animation that occurs as you scroll, go to Manage > Settings > Global Styles > Animate On Scroll and choose the “Disable On” option from the drop-down menu. This change will impact everything that you have in your animations.

Second, you could disable the animation for a specific component.

While you are in the edit mode for the element, go to the smaller breakpoint, and then copy and paste the following code into the Advanced > Custom CSS tab.

opacity: 1;
transform: translate(0) scale(1);

Oxygen builder is simple to understand, but like with any platform, there is a learning curve. These easy-to-understand tips should help you get ahead a bit quicker. Keep in mind that everything is always trial and error. Do not be afraid to experiment and try out new things. That’s the best way of learning.

Wix and Their Dirty Tricks

Wix – the famous website-builder company that you may have seen steal WordPress code and lie about it has decided that the best way to gain relevancy is to attack the open source WordPress community with a strange set of ads. They have attempted to imitate Apple’s Macvs PC ads but instead tastelessly portray the WordPress community as an absent father who is in therapy.

I feel a lot for those who were forced to work on these ads. Even the actors. It must have been a terrible feeling working on something like Encyclopedia Britannica attacking Wikipedia. WordPress is a global community of hundreds of thousands of volunteers, and community members working together to make the internet a better place. You own the code and all that you have put into it. The open-source license gives you complete control over your code and ensures you are in total control of your code for now and forever. WordPress is free and gives you freedom.

Wix, a for profit company valued at approximately 20 billion dollars, has a business model that requires customers to pay more each year. This makes it hard to leave the site or get a refund. You can see their investor presentations, but don’t believe me. They are so insecure that they are the only website creator that I know of that does not allow you to export any content. It’s like a motel where you can check-in but never check-out. Their proprietary stack locks you in. Even their support documentation admits it.

If we compare website builders to abusive relationships then Wix is the one that locks you down in the basement and won’t let anyone out.

Philosophically, open source is what I believe in. If WordPress isn’t for you, there are many great open source communities such as Joomla, Jekyll and Typo3. We have great relationships with our proprietary competitors. I also have high respect for Squarespace and Shopify. I have always seen their integrity, and would recommend them to anyone.

It’s hard to believe that users will be interested in this in the long-term. That could explain why Squarespace recently surpassed Wix in market share . They support the native export to WordPress’ format and don’t need to resort to any dirty tricks to succeed. Squarespace’s upcoming IPO is going to be a success, I believe.

Wix continues to display their true colors, however. I encourage people to think about the behavior of the companies they fund with their dollars, regardless of the product they use. Wix wants you to see their latest campaign, so let’s go ahead and take the bait. Let’s watch the misleading, creepy way they try to portray themselves.

Top Reasons Why You Should Outsource e-Commerce Development

More and more companies are choosing website development outsourcing as their preferred path for getting things done. In this article, we’ll talk about a specific type of web development, eCommerce, and the top reasons why businesses and digital agencies choose this type of business model.

What Is eCommerce Website Development?

E-commerce web development is the design and development of a website for a store where customers can purchase goods online. Online stores let businesses reach a wider audience (nationwide or worldwide) which allows for a greater targeted customer reach and increased revenue.

eCommerce website development covers the technical aspects of bringing an online store to life. This service comprises implementing the necessary functionality coupled with producing the desired design. In short, the main challenges of eCommerce development are:

  • choosing essential functions that consumers need
  • creating user-friendly interfaces combined with outstanding design

Let’s briefly look at the elements to consider during online store website development.

The Ins and Outs of e-Commerce Development

Online stores have several essential things that should be taken into consideration when creating a website.

Product Inventory Management (PIM)

An online store aims to present products for sale in a way where the arrangement of collections/categories is a must for a successful store. Professional eCommerce web development assumes product inventory as one of the basic features. Moreover, a well-organized eCommerce website shows customers related products, special offers, and discounts which in turn, encourages them to view more items and pick the ones that they want.

Navigation and User Experience

The ability to navigate through the website easily guarantees a better user experience. Consequently, web development cares about the store’s menu, categories, and navigation bar. Furthermore, filtering and sorting options improve the users’ chances of finding items effortlessly.

Shopping Cart and Checkout Process

Setting up the shopping cart and checkout the correct way is essential for selling. With a well-developed eCommerce site, you won’t have to worry about an abandoned shopping cart because of a substandard design. Likewise, a professional should handle tweaking the way the shipping system flows and adding various shipping and payment options.

Marketing and Communication Tools

Online store development also implies integrating various marketing and communication tools that engage customers and promote sales. These tools include newsletter subscriptions, chat, analytic software, etc.

Website Security and Performance

Due to the fact that online stores deal with payments and sensitive information, their security is of the utmost importance. Professional eCommerce web developers will never ignore the proper implementation of a website’s security. Additionally, they’ll ensure that the website speed will perform as expected even if faced with large amounts of product images or traffic.

The Main Reasons to Outsource eCommerce Development

Spoiler: Outsourcing eCommerce development lets you devote your time to business management and marketing while professionals create an outstanding online store to fit your needs.

Generally, creating a website for a store happens during the initial stages of starting a business. During this period, business owners face hundreds of other issues such as registering a business, opening accounts, estimating risks, managing inventory and warehouses, applying for licenses or permits, finding partners, streamlining projects, etc.

Outsourcing your online store development lets you concentrate on essential business processes, including hiring professionals, building your team, launching marketing campaigns, and so on. Below are additional reasons why outsourcing eCommerce development is beneficial.

Expert Website Development

The first reason to outsource your online store build is the expertise that you get. Trustworthy companies specializing in eCommerce development will have the relevant experience needed to enable them to complete projects quickly.

Even if you have doubts about which platform to use for building an online store, the right professionals will be able to give you a hand. This will help you discover specialized services like WooCommerce, Magento, or Shopify development services that will assist you in meeting your requirements. Top open source services review is in our post.

Developers who have completed numerous projects know development platforms, content management systems, APIs, plugins, and other tools inside and out and can adapt to most any requirements with ease. Skillful developers will help you choose the most appropriate means for managing your products and integrating marketing tools alongside providing user-friendly website designs.

Niche-Specific Customization

The expertise mentioned in the previous section also lets you get an online store adjusted to a specific niche. For instance, a clothing website requires adding product variations (colors, sizes) and sorting filters (style, fit, season, material, occasion, etc.).

At the same time, a pet store needs to emphasize product categories, featured products, and related items to catch the customers’ attention and encourage them to make a purchase. This means that the website design, development, and functionality should be handled by professionals who have multiple projects under their belt.

Custom Feature Implementation

Besides tweaking your store to meet the needs of your niche, you may want a custom solution to make your store stand out from the competition. A great example of a custom functionality implemented by Shopify experts is a Product Customizer shown below.

This custom solution for the US online jewelry store Young In the Mountains lets users create unique pieces of jewelry by setting their preferred options. This easy-to-understand tool takes people through the process of creating their dream jewelry with ease. Feel free to read more about this custom creation here.

Before hiring an outsourcing team, you can discuss your necessities and vision to make sure that they understand the direction that you want to take. This way, you will be able to get a better understanding of whether the team can provide you with the right custom solution.

Attention to Detail

Experienced eCommerce developers will help you plan the tiniest details of your online store. They should always ask you to provide as much information as possible to ensure that the end results meet your exact expectations. Most likely, you’ll be asked to fill out a questionnaire with the project specifications. This way, the developers can ensure that nothing is overlooked in the process, even parts that clients often don’t consider.

A reliable eCommerce development company can assist you from the very beginning (such as choosing the right platform or CMS) to the wrap-up phase of your website and post-project recommendations. From the general store layout to the tiniest button customization – you’ll have every aspect covered without having to worry about forgetting any details.

Cost Effectiveness

Outsourcing eCommerce web development saves you money in several ways.

  1. You’ll be able to reduce your payroll.

An outsourcing company uses its own human resources department which throws the hiring process on someone else’s shoulders.

  1. You can find companies that fit your budget.

Hiring professionals from developing countries can save you bundles. However, cheaper doesn’t always mean better so make sure that the company you are considering has the skills and expertise to deliver what you need. Once you find the perfect match, it’s a combination that is hard to beat.

  1. You get scalable solutions for your project.

Outsourcing eCommerce web development means that you don’t need to worry about hiring different specialists for different project stages. If you trust your eCommerce website creation to a reliable company, they will have an array of specialists on their team to provide you with the maximum flexibility to get the perfect website to meet your needs both now and in the future.

Saving Time and Managerial Efforts

If you outsource your online store development, there’s no need to worry about administrative tasks or spending time finding a good in-house team. Mainly, you don’t need to hire, train, or get adjusted to the work styles of new employees. The right outsourcing company will have a team of professionals ready to embark on the project as soon as they get all the requirements.

In addition, you don’t need to manage the team, track task completion, or find solutions to unexpected situations. The outsourcing team will be happy to provide you with updates regarding your website creation and you’ll get the results without having to deal with any web development management hassles.

Agency Growth with Outsourcing eCommerce Web Development

The reasons we have covered are primarily relevant to businesses who want to launch their eCommerce website. Yet, outsourcing eCommerce development is also beneficial for digital agencies wishing to scale up.

Firstly, outsourcing will provide expert assistance in any sphere where you lack expertise. As we have discussed, online store creation can have many quirks and unknowns. By having the right knowledge on your side, your ability to attract and keep customers will only increase over time.

Secondly, digital agencies can cooperate with outsourcing companies in peak times when their in-house resources are bogged down with other projects. If you feel overwhelmed by your workload, outsourcing is an excellent solution to making sure everything is completed on time and to your customer’s satisfaction.

Conclusion: Why Outsource eCommerce Web Development

To sum it up, outsourcing eCommerce website development provides a ton of advantages for businesses launching a site and digital agencies looking for a partner. The outsourcing company of your choice will provide qualified services and produce a well-tuned online store that meets your requirements. You’ll get niche-specific design and functionality or even custom solutions if so desired. On the same note, outsourcing will save you time and money.

For digital agencies, outsourcing eCommerce development means delegating tasks and completing projects successfully, no matter how challenging the projects are or how many resources are needed.

Landingfolio Tool Review

The original Landingfolio was built on a WordPress template. Everything was basically a spaghetti program. The website would crash every time I tried to add a new feature. It was now at twilight. Is Landingfolio on the horizon?

The site has received over 800.000 pageviews in the past 12 months. This is insane considering that this was a side project from 2015. These numbers and so many words about the project from others convinced me to double down.

Go all in

September 2019, I decided that Landingfolio needed to be taken to the next level. No more breaking WordPress. It’s no longer about inspiration. It’s time to create something more. I learned how to program for four days per week, weekends included.

Nuxt was the tool I used to create Landingfolio. Vue.js framework. Vue.js is a framework.

The website you are viewing is the latest version of Landingfolio. It was completed six months ago and took over 500 hours to create. I had to add a lot of features to the “later section.” Many indie hackers fear launching their products. This was something I didn’t intend to allow, so I determined what the minimum viable product for Landingfolio.

So, what’s new?

The Landingfolio used to be a common design gallery. Although my favorite designs were included, that was it. The New Landingfolio was my vision. Only curated designs would be allowed on the platform. There are no fancy examples like Dribbble. Instead, real examples.

A platform can have many features. Below, I’ll list all new features, beginning with the most obvious.

You can still find all the old landing pages. However, I have added eight new categories of inspiration.

Login, Pricing, Signup and About. Logos, 404, and Logos. You can use this information to find inspiration for your next design project.

Landingfolio currently has over 4000 designs. It can be difficult to find the right one, so I added some cool new features!

Filter-based colors

You can see the colors at the bottom of each inspiration. These links are clickable. They will only show you landing pages with the exact same color as the one that you clicked. You can also use color filters located in the menu under the header.

Mobile and desktop designs are shown

These days responsive designs are essential. All designs on Landingfolio are now compatible with both mobile and desktop designs. To switch between designs, simply click on the toggle button in the filter menu.

Do you still use Google Docs to gather URLs for designs you like? You can now stop using Google Docs to collect URLs of designs you like. With the introduction collection, you can create and store your favorite inspirations in the correct collection.

There are endless possibilities for creating collections. The best part?

You can share your collections with friends and clients.

It is difficult to share examples with clients, as designers know. I have been sharing links to Google Docs. This doesn’t look professional.

Look in the upper right corner for the share button. You can now share your collection. The link will take you to a personal collection page that includes all of the designs. Send the link to your clients, and they will choose which design they want for their redesign.

The new Landingfolio Pro plan allows you to share collections. This plan will allow me to create even more features and concentrate full-time on Landingfolio.

You are faced with the dilemma of creating a footer on your website. You would normally have to open each new website, scroll down to the bottom, and then look at their footer, which can sometimes be mediocre.

These days are long with Components. Landingfolio now has a new addition! Over 1500+ components have been collected from various websites. The menu at the top will help you find the right components. There are currently over 20 categories. More will be added. The best thing? The best part? You can filter them by colors.

All examples of component parts can be saved to your custom collection.

Templates and Resources

Also, the template and resource sections of the website have been given some attention. Each item now displays the technology and tool for which it was built. This allows you to quickly filter your tech-stack and find the right template or resource for your needs.

Next steps

The New Landingfolio was released and I had to add many features. There are many functions that I would like to add. These are my favorites and they will all be available on the site very soon.

  1. Conversion Optimized Landing Page templates.
  2. Landing page Teardowns. Get inspired by the best examples of what to do.
  3. Designer Profile. Create your portfolio and get new clients with Landingfolio.
  4. Drag and drop the Inspiration Builder. You can create your own example landing pages using the best elements from different websites. This can be used as a base for your own custom design.

Are you a Landingfolio expert? You can send it to the bottom of the page and you might be able use it soon!

The all-new Landingfolio is now available

I hope you enjoy the new redesign as much as I do. Remember, the website has been run for free for 5 years. Landingfolio Pro is a subscription that allows you to support me in building this amazing platform, and all the cool new features.

The Complete Guide to Tech Glitch and How to Avoid It

What is a Tech Glitch?

A tech glitch is a minor technical error in the computer system that is not severe enough to make the system inoperable.

A tech glitch can be due to human error, hardware malfunctions, software bugs, or any other unforeseen issues.

The best way to handle a tech glitch is to reboot the computer and see if it fixes the issue. If it doesn’t, then you will need to contact your IT team for help.

What Causes Technical Glitches?

A system glitch is a sudden, temporary malfunction in a system, often caused by improper input or an unexpected event. The term is most often used to describe failures in electrical power systems and data networks.

A technical system failure is the inability of a computer system to operate as intended. This can be caused by hardware failure, software failure, or human error.

Computer crash refers to the sudden, usually fatal termination of operation of an electronic device due to malfunction. This can be caused by hardware failure, software failure, or human error.

What are the Consequences of Tech Glitches?

The consequences of tech glitches are often not as bad as we may think. Sometimes, they can be helpful to us in a way that we didn’t expect.

-Google Maps was able to find a lost driver in the Australian outback

-A software glitch caused an ATM to give away $13 million

-An iPhone 6s user’s phone autocorrected “I’m gay” to “I’m happy”

How Can You Avoide a Tech Glitch?

Technology is not perfect. There will always be some sort of glitch. But there are ways to avoid them and protect your data.

If you want to avoid a tech glitch, you first need to know what type of tech glitch it is. Some glitches are more severe than others and require different fixes.

There are many ways that you can protect your data from glitches in the system. One way is by backing up your data on a regular basis, but this can be difficult for most people to do on their own. Another way is by using a virtual private network (VPN) which encrypts all of the data that goes through it, making it much harder for any third parties to access your personal information without permission.

No matter how well you protect yourself from these glitches, there’s no stopping the fact that your data will be exposed.

Some of the first known cases of data leaks by social media sites resulted from Twitter and Facebook, where hackers were able to access user account information through third-party applications. In both cases, hackers could also access passwords for users and other private text messages sent to or from other users.

How to Avoid Technical Glitches that May Occur When Using Technology

What is a Tech Glitch and What Causes It?

A tech glitch is a technical error that occurs in a computer system, software or other technology. The glitches can be caused by a number of factors and can vary in severity.

One of the most common causes of tech glitches is human error. This can happen when somebody accidentally deletes an important file from their computer or when they mistakenly enter the wrong password. Glitches can also happen due to natural disasters such as hurricanes and earthquakes, which may result in power outages and damage to infrastructure such as phone lines or internet cables.

How to Fix a Tech Glitch

Technology glitches are common in our lives. From the time we wake up to the time we go to bed, we experience them. It is a part of life that cannot be avoided. We can’t live without technology and it is not going anywhere anytime soon. So, it is best to know how to fix a technical glitch when it happens so that you can continue your day without interruption.

There are many ways to fix a technical glitch or avoid one altogether. You should always make sure that you have the latest software updates on your devices and they are fully charged before using them. You should also make sure that your software is compatible with other devices used by others in the same network or connected through Wi-Fi connections.

Browser ‘Favicons can be used as Undeletable Supercookies to track you online

Source Vice: “Favicons are something that almost every website uses, but nobody thinks about. The little icon at each tab’s start provides a logo for the current tab. Twitter uses the little bluebird, Gmail has the red mail icon and Wikipedia has the bold W. This is a handy shortcut that allows us to navigate through our endless tab situation. Researchers have discovered that these icons could be a security flaw. They can allow websites to track your movements and bypass VPNs and incognito browsing statuses. This tracking technique is known as a Supercookie and was created by Jonas Strehle, a German software designer. Supercookie uses favicons as a way to give unique identifiers to website visitors. This ID, unlike traditional tracking methods can be stored almost permanently and cannot be easily removed by the user,” Strehle stated on his Github.

Browser favicons can be used undeletable!

The tracking method is effective even when the browser is incognito. It cannot be cleared by closing the browser, closing it, restarting the system, or using AdBlockers or a VPN. Strehle’s Github explains that he was inspired to use favicons for tracking users after reading an research paper from the University of Illinois at Chicago …”.

Checklist for Designing a Good Hookup Website

The online dating industry is growing like a mushroom by the forest creek. New hookup platforms pop out of nowhere. Everybody thinks building and scaling a dating site for casual hookups is simple, so they start the journey. However, many never get to see their sites shine. The reason for that is either being too general (we’ll explain in a minute). Or having a bad design (we’ll explain in 3 minutes).

The Importance of Picking a Niche in 2022 and Beyond

Online dating industry is huge. The majority of single people have looked for dates online at least once. Most are doing it regularly. And while some companies think that targeting everybody makes more sense, that strategy simply doesn’t work. Don’t get us wrong, it can work. But for that to happen, the owner must be ready to invest a lot of money. Not just in the design and features. Marketing is vital. The best platform in the world is useless if no one knows it exists. So, if you don’t want to compete with industry giants, pick a niche.

Do you think singles seeking hookups thrive on a dating platform for serious relationships or the one made only to find a hookup for a couple of nights? Of course, it’s a niche hookup site with decent features, even though some general platforms have more users. Competition isn’t as massive in niche sites.

Now you know why it makes sense to build a site only for singles looking for a hookup. However, don’t stop picking at the wide niche. Go deeper. Decide if you want to focus on straight or gay hookups, adult or senior dating, etc. Do that before you start designing and writing your website. Why? Because your target market and their desires shape your business, not the other way around. Let’s put that into an example.

Clear, Attractive, and Crisp Homepage

The homepage is the icebreaker of your hookup site. If it’s good, singles will join. If your home page isn’t good, visitors bounce back to SERP. And we all know how Google treats pages with a high bounce rate. To prevent that, you need to give the package of info on the homepage. And you must do it in an eye-pleasing way.

Here is the checklist you can use to see if your hookup site homepage (or any other page) has potential:

  • does it grab attention
  • does it answer what’s in it for me quickly (for your audience)
  • does it show pain points and solutions
  • is it conversational
  • is there a story
  • how about a clear CTA

We’ll explain each in a couple of sentences. Nail all of them (by combining design and copy), and you can be sure you have a good homepage.

Attention Grabbing

If you build a casual dating site, the best way to grab attention is to include attractive photos. Put them above the fold (the part of your site they see without scrolling). If the first thing they see after landing on your home page is a stunning lady or a flirting couple – you have their attention. Then you need to keep it. And that’s the tricky part.

What’s in It for Me

Your headline, usually next to the attractive photo, is crucial. It must give men and women seeking hookups the reason to join your site. The more specific it is, the more singles it converts. So, if you’re building a hookup site, say they can meet girls seeking casual flings quickly.

Pain Points and Solutions

You can tease this in the headline but focus on it in the body text of your homepage. The more objections you discover and solve, the more members you get. Just don’t forget to think about market saturation. Many sites focus on the wrong pain points. They compare themselves to offline dating. Instead, they should focus on the pain points of online dating and the solutions they offer. When it comes to design, if you can get nice icons that show before and after each pain point and put it under, let’s say, 150 words of body copy… Some might call that art.

In other words, does it read like you’re talking to someone? The simplest way to achieve that in your copy is by using contractions (you’re instead of you are).

Storytelling doesn’t fit in the design of the hookup site homepage, but you can still include stories. Use testimonials and reviews from current members. That’s strong social proof and gives a chance to see what happens after they join.

Clear CTA

Clear CTA doesn’t just mean you should use a different color to make the button visible. You should give them clear instructions on what they should do next. If you want X, then do Y now.

When it comes to design, you want to have 2 CTAs. One at the top by the picture and headline. And one at the bottom of the site. You can add one or two in the middle, but most hookup sites don’t have long homepages, so that’s not a must.

Also, remember to keep the same text in every CTA button.

The Tone of Voice (Terms and Language)

Now when you know how the homepage of a hookup site should look, you have to master something else. It’s related more to copywriting, but it affects design too. Nailing the tone on your site makes more impact than people think. Using the correct language is the line between:

  • “God, this site must be fake.”

  • “I have to try this cool site.”

To figure out the language of your audience, research. Become addicted to Quora, Reddit, and reviews on AppStore. Become addicted to anything that gives you insight into the exact words your target audience uses. And then you use those words to show them they can trust you.

Do deep research for design too. If the whole niche uses bright colors and big pictures, do the same. That’s been tested and proven to work. So, save yourself time and money and lean (not plagiarize) on things already crushing it.

Great UX (Easy to Navigate and Use the Site)

We won’t talk about the importance of safety on a hookup site. If you don’t plan to have SSL or email verification, don’t build the site in the first place. But don’t neglect the importance of simplicity. User experience makes the difference when two sites are similar in features.

Ensure that your site is easy to use on the mobile phone too. Some platforms invest a lot in websites only to figure out they’re useless on smartphones. Remember, your goal is to give singles a smooth hookup experience. To achieve that, you should pave as many bumps as possible. If your design confuses them, they fall into the pit. And the only way out is, well, out of your site.

Mild or Vivid Colors

Our senses are receptors through which we feel the world. That means it’s possible to affect how someone feels by tickling their senses. In design, you have only one sense to hit – vision. You do it by using shapes and colors. Different colors spark different emotions, so read about the color you decide to use before you paint the whole site.

Relevant Ads

Hookup sites earn money by selling memberships or advertisement space. Most new and small niche hookup sites can’t afford to follow the first strategy because you need a good reputation. To get a good reputation – you need time (and a good product).

So, most new hookup sites finance themselves by selling ad space. If you’re going to do that, don’t be too aggressive. Don’t include 13 popup ads on every page. And if you don’t want to annoy your members, show them only relevant ads. That directly affects UX, and UX directly affects your reputation.

Best day to launch a website [Research]

Launching a website can be difficult, especially if it is replacing an existing one.

This was my most stressful day when I started my agency. There are many points of failure: editing DNS records, changing domains and installing SSL certificates.

Make backup!

You will eventually realize that something was missed when it is finally live. It’s often the obvious things you don’t know how you missed.

To solve the problem, I first scheduled the launch day in advance and had a repeatable process in place so that everything was in order.

However, no plan can be foolproof. The best thing you can do is to analyze all options and make the best decisions based on what you know. Recent polls gave us ample data. I believe we can resolve this issue.

Which day is best to launch a website in a week? According to web developers, Tuesday is the best day for launching a website. It’s Tuesday. Launching a website on Tuesday will give you the energy of Monday and plenty of weekdays to fix any bugs or issues.

Ask web developers for their top launch days

Research by Rich Deane has shown that web developers all over the world voted for the best day of the year to launch a site.

Tuesday was the clear favorite and received more votes than Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday!

All other days combined24%

The data was somewhat blurred by the inclusion of other options in the responses. This experiment was limited to the data that I took from the seven days of the week.

No other day of week is as close.

Tuesday’s dominating lead was so convincing that I knew there had to be truth behind it (and a reasonable explanation).

Before we get into the reasons Tuesday is so popular with web professionals, let us take a look at other days that aren’t as great.

? Many people say that you should never launch on Fridays.

Fridays are now known to be the worst day for launching a website. In fact, “any day other than Friday” was one of the options in the poll. This option garnered many votes.

Web agencies tend to take weekends off. With all the uncertainty surrounding every website launch, it is easy for your website to be published on Friday.

Even though things seem fine immediately after launch, it is almost certain that someone will find an issue, whether it be you, your customer or their visitors.

Bug fixes and other changes can easily interrupt your weekend if there is a serious issue. Customers won’t care if you aren’t available for work on weekends if the multi-thousand-dollar project you were paid for “doesn’t work”.

This could not only ruin your weekend plans, but it can also damage your relationship with your client.

We know that we want Saturday and Sunday off so we can leave Saturday and Sunday alone.

? Mondays are stressful.

Despite Monday coming in second (likely due the lengthy buffer before the next weekend), Mondays are stressful.

After two days of not thinking about websites, you’re now out of the office routine. It might not be the best way to start your week.

A pile of voicemails, emails and other requests from people who were absent while you were away almost always welcomes you to work on Monday morning. A Monday launch can mean delaying your responses or getting a late start due to the fires you are putting out.

Launching a website can be mentally demanding and time-consuming. Monday may not allow you to have the time or brainpower necessary to make it a success.

Keep in mind, however, that Monday is the most common day for people to call home sick. Launch day can be difficult if there are multiple people involved.

? Wednesday and Thursday also have their issues.

You start to dream about the weekend, rather than the beginning of the week. You are more likely to make mistakes if you feel low in the middle of the week.

Your energy levels decrease as you move closer to your last weekend off. You might feel excited for the week ahead on Monday, but by Wednesday your energy levels have dropped significantly.

Your ever-growing to-do-list should be considered, as it tends to grow longer each week. Your to-do list will be full by mid-week, so you need to make sure you get everything done before Friday.

You should launch on Wednesday or Thursday if you don’t have any other work.

Tuesday is the best day for launching a website

Tuesday is a great day to get rid of the stress of going back to work on Monday, and to have energy to last the week.

Three reasons made Tuesday such an appealing candidate for me…

Plenty of buffer

You have plenty of time between your Friday launch and the weekend, unlike a Friday launch.

If you launch on Tuesday but are still fixing major bugs three or four days later, it is likely that something has gone horribly wrong.

Most cases will see the website up and running with major bugs fixed. You’ll still have plenty of time to work on other tasks during the week.

Energy levels high

Studies show that Tuesday is the most productive day for Monday-Friday workers.

You’ll be back in the rhythm of work Monday and Tuesday, having put the weekend behind you.

You still have plenty of gas in the tank. This means that you have the energy and motivation to get the week started right.

You are not too busy yet

Your to-do list will grow as your week progresses. Wednesday and Thursday aren’t preferred because you have the most demands on your schedule by mid-week.

However, Tuesday is a good day to be ahead of the rest of the week.

You have put the Monday chaos behind you and are now free to focus on Tuesday.

Does this mean that you should always launch on Tuesdays?

There are chances that the stars will not align for you to launch every Tuesday on a Tuesday. But, you can do it any time.

One person reminded me it was worth considering your website’s specific audience and needs.

It all depends on the website. It doesn’t matter if it’s brand new. I usually do a domain re-design on Friday night, particularly for heavy e-comm sites with a lot of traffic. I usually do this on Friday because that is the lowest traffic day.

Google Analytics can help you determine what days and times are most busy. Avoid peak hours to minimize disruptions caused by a website launch. It’s important to consider each website individually before making a blanket decision.

Before I wrote the article and analyzed the poll results, I had not really thought about which day was best. Other than knowing that Friday wasn’t my ideal launch date.

Even though Tuesday is a great day, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to launch your website on Tuesday. But it’s worth considering why so many developers prefer Tuesday. You can argue that Tuesday is the best day to launch a website.

While opinions and circumstances may differ, one commenter reminded us of the most important point:

Not before pay day.

How to launch a successful website?

Whatever day of the week it is, preparation will make your website launch a success.

It is easy to forget about the open graph/social share image or turn off the no index (we’ve all been there).

A checklist for website launches can help you avoid making mistakes, save time, and give confidence to your customers that you are well-informed.

Microsite vs Landing Page: What’s The Difference?

What is a landing page? What is a microsite? What are the similarities and differences? What are the pros and cons of each? What are the best uses case each one?

What is a landing page?

A landing page is a page that promotes a product or service. It is located on your main domain with the URL reflecting the campaign. Your landing page can be used to push prospects further down the sales funnel if your website is an extensive tool for information and sales. Its purpose is to convert. Convincing design is the main focus. Information and entertainment are secondary. A landing page is much more simple than a microsite. There are no links or other information, and the prospect can focus on the task at hand.

What is a microsite?

A microsite, a targeted website that is small and easily accessible, is often used to educate, entertain, or convert. A website, on the other side, is a complete tool for information and selling. It contains all about your brand, values and products. A microsite, which is an independent domain, is different from a landing page. Microsites can be compared to landing pages. They are usually topic-based and only contain a handful of pages as opposed to your main website, which could have dozens. The microsite’s few pages contain targeted content that is engaging users. It tells a story about specific products and services and creates an engaging and enjoyable experience for users. When used in conjunction with a larger campaign, they can help to build brand awareness and fan followings. If the campaign is complicated and cannot be explained in just a few lines, a microsite may be used.

I found this definition on the Internet.

microsite is a specific, standalone domain, unlike a landing page. When comparing microsites vs landing pagesmicrosites are often topic based and contain a few pages, as compared to your main website which may contain dozens of pages. These few pages on the microsite contain specific content that engages users.

But I absolutely disagree with him. I will explain my vision.

What is a microsite in truth?

What is a microsite example?

What are the similarities and differences?

What are the pros and cons of each?

What are the best uses case of each one?

How to Create a Website like Reddit?

How to create a website like Reddit? This idea might have struck you while going through the website. If you wish to know about it, we can help you.

Before that Let’s have a look at Reddit and why it has become famous.

Reddit has become the world’s most successful social bookmarking website explosive with millions of users across the globe. The website is buzzing with lots of activities and page views per day.

Reddit basks in the glory due to its rich community of people that comes together with common interests. Its unique approach has users sharing links and content that receive upvotes based on how engaging it is.

Reddit contains Subreddits of trending topics such as Video Games, Movies, NBA, Football, etc.

If your content is strong enough to earn maximum upvotes, it goes viral (like YouTube videos) across Reddit platform and appears on the homepage.

The Reddit’s success is knitted with expanding number of users who run a riotous lot of activities on its platform. This is what you should focus on while building a website like Reddit.

So if you are wondering what it takes to create a website like Reddit with a growing social bookmarking community, follow these steps:

Pick a Short Yet Stunning Domain Name

Acquiring your own domain is the first step towards building a website like Reddit.

For your website to be successful enough to grab attention, choose a domain name that is short, memorable and appealing.

Make a list of a few potential domain names, discuss with others and pick one that you can convert into a news and content brand like Reddit.

While you are still planning for domain names, you can focus on the following aspects:

  • Short in length
  • Catchy and easy-to-remember
  • Brandable qualities
  • .COM extension for global appearance
  • .co.(country name) for Country-specific domain

You can also go online to scour suggestions and ideas for selecting a powerful domain name.

GoDaddyNamestationBigRock are great options to satiate your domain needs. These domain services guarantee handy dashboard, flexible plans and 24/7 customer support.

Shorter the domain name, the increased are the chances for your social bookmarking site to be popular. Use maximum 8 characters to define a name like what is done by hit socials such as YouTube, Quora, Facebook, Twitter and Reddit itself.

Opt For Web Hosting Services

After you have bought a perfect domain name, it is time to move on to web hosting services.

You will find a pool of options floating online when you search for affordable web hosting providers. A few great names in this category are:

They are your best choice because it provides simple and friendly environment to build and launch a new professional looking website in no time.

Beginners can also get started with hosting their website even without prior technical knowledge to build a website.

Their pricing varies depending on the functionality, space and support you seek while hosting the site. They each provide:

  • Unlimited Domain Hosting

Choose a good Website Script

After you have ensured a good domain name and perfect hosting, your social bookmarking sites where content is king need a robust script solution.

WordPress emerges as a powerful blogging platform. Though WordPress makes for an obvious choice and offers various themes, it does not essentially support web structures challenged by massive MySQL database activities.

Therefore, for the efficiency and performance of ambitiously large websites with ample daily traffic, PHP custom scripts are found suitable.

To build an excellent Reddit alternative with WordPress, you can rely on the following plugins:

  • WPeddit
  • Bunchy
  • UpVote
  • Rank it (for submit, vote and comment)

To leverage PHP Scripts, consider the following:

  • Gentile Ninja
  • Ncrpyted
  • Bookit

Reddit’s Source Code For Developers

To build a strong Reddit alternative, why not go for Reddit’s own source code.

You can refer to its GitHub page to study its regularly updated open-source codebase enough to figure out how it all works and develop from it.

This saves a lot of time for web development experts as they won’t have to pull off everything from scratch.

Partner, Collaborate & Hire Your own Squad

If developing a social bookmarking and content-sharing website like Reddit is too overwhelming for you, you can always choose to partner with specialized web developers and hire their dedicated squad of developers.

Reddit might seem simple, but the process of building a fully functioning website with engaging functionality still takes efforts of skilled, technically sound developers.

Content Management Tactics

Beginnings are always tough. It is common to see not many users when you launch the website. But the best way to create the buzz is to build spurious profiles by developers and feed some content to make it look active. That is what Reddit did initially to get the momentum going.

Users will not prefer to stay on your website unless it has some existing users. You can tell your cluster of creators, associates or your partners to pose as active users and content frequently.

This will grow it from empty to busy. Aim at reaching at least 100 users and a thousand of posts before expecting organic traffic. Try variety in content types such as articles, queries, personal stories and status and Gif videos, etc.

Gather Volumes of Users

Upon making sure your domain name is fascinating and your content looks compelling, you can switch your focus on marketing it and tempt more traffic to your website. Basically, there are three ways you can possibly acquire more viewers.

From meta description and URL to most entered keywords and backlinks, there are different ways to optimize your website for SEO on search engines.

Get all the basics right and engage a technical team who possesses thorough knowledge about SEO website marketing including organic elements such as precise backlinks, long-tailed keywords, page URLs with post titles.

Your homepage is a star performer in SEO optimization efforts for Google, Yahoo and Bing. So load the website homepage with lots of trending search-worthy content.

If you are not good at SEO marketing, it is judicious to collaborate with an SEO marketing agency along with a web development company.

Social Media

It is undeniable that social media platforms help drive boost in popularity and thrust your social bookmarking website in limelight. Weave social activities in your marketing strategy to gain more leverage.

Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter are main players in the business with Facebook offering great tools and community to spread a word. Your major target market is captured by Facebook.

Stretch your budget enough to integrate Facebook ads if possible. Attach a link to your website on your Facebook page. As a user hit the Like, their friends can also view the activity.

Word of Mouth

Word of mouth, of all marketing tactics, is important one since it is inexpensive yet effective. You can start by interesting the people in your network in visiting your reddit-like website. If they like it, they will propel it further among their circle.

Another trick is to arrange a pleasant giveaway on your website for existing community.

If the website users find value and goodness in your offerings, they will share their experience with their friends and encourage then to create accounts.

Create a Reliable Monetization Stream

Generating revenue from websites like Reddit is a tricky game where being smart is the difference between being desperate and being generous.

As for Reddit creators, they gain revenue mainly from advertising and sponsored links of their partners.

However, they also have a tertiary unique feature called Reddit Gold accounts that encourage users to buy additional features. The best monetization is to create a stream that involves multiple sources.

When you concoct a blend of several monetization tactics, you will never have to rely heavily on a single source and you will be at the advantage of accelerating the revenues.

Try to incorporate sponsored links within the website content. Like Reddit, you can also afford users special membership perks such as being an active part of community.

If your website content drives value to users, they will feel naturally motivated to contribute some monetary donation.

Replicate Reddit by Building its Alternative

The steps described above will boost your knowledge for developing a successful website like Reddit. It is important to note that having your community website on well-hosted, perfectly managed server is utmost necessity you can’t compromise on.

Reality becomes second best to us, and many prefer to make and meet friends virtually. The internet is full of ways to meet people. Thousands of platforms, websites, chat rooms, online gaming chats exist today.

Solutions for People Who Find It Easier to Start Chatting Online Before Going Offline

One of the biggest problems for nerds when trying to communicate with people is confidence. Being online gives them chance to think about what they say before they type out a message. And this is what makes them feel more comfortable and confident speaking over messaging services online rather than in person, as well as other online features, for example, games that can show skills in the gaming world. Being behind a screen means that people can slowly reveal their true selves to someone over time as they get to know them.

All of the above is also true for those nerds who want not only to communicate, but also to meet for a romantic relationship. Thanks to common interests, communication is fast and easy and this is exactly what you need when looking for a partner. We’ve divided online chatting sites for nerds into three main categories depending on the ultimate goal of communication.

Dating Sites for Geeks and Nerds

Start your quest for love and find someone with online dating sites specifically for those who consider themselves to be more on the geeky side. Whether you nerd out over cars, games, or computers, the best nerds dating sites are full of people who share the same interests. These dating platforms match people according to their own chosen categories, so the chances of meeting someone you’re interested in building a connection with are very high! Usually, a nerd dating site uses location services to find other singles using the site closest to you. Plus, there is the ability to create a detailed profile about what you’re interested in and people that view your profile can message you directly. This is a great fun, new and quirky way to meet people who share the same passions, rather than swiping through only faces and feeling more rejected than connected.

Nerd dating is very inclusive and makes it suitable for geeks of every kind, and its number of users holds a 50/50 split of men and women. As popularity of gaming and the quantity of female gamers are growing, this ratio can quickly change.

Nerd Chat Rooms

All you have to do on a free nerd chat is sign up and create an account, then you can chat away to nerds and geeks all over without spending a penny on memberships or upgrades. There are different chat rooms and ways to direct message others on the different sites, as well as a webcam feature, and groups that you can join to find new users!

These platforms can be used by nerds to establish new friendships and internet connections with others who are as geeky or nerdy as themselves. And the advantage is that your identity can be kept secret. This means that you can be anyone with your hidden identity. But it should be understood that not everyone will do it in a safe and friendly manner. However, thanks to such chat rooms and its vast amount of users, you can meet new geeky people from all over the world.

Geek Forums and Community

These sites have endless virtual communities and endless possibilities. It’s great for geeky people to make online connections in order to get not only new acquaintances, but also help and support with all kinds of questions, as well as to learn something new in the field of IT. The regulars of such forums and Internet communities are interested in creating a useful and friendly online field, so discussions and content are filtered and become popular thanks to the activity of the users themselves. Usually, by participating in threads and creating useful topics for other forum members, you can earn achievements and a trust pool, which will help raise exactly what is interesting and relevant to you to the top.

If the online community has the opportunity to become an admin or moderator, then your hobby can also become a pleasant job. And along with this, in addition to meeting new like-minded people, the skills of resolving conflict situations will also develop.

As you can see, the online communication industry for geeks and nerds and other is quite developed, and people with common interests have the opportunity to communicate not only by playing online games. Whether it’s finding new nerdy friends online or dating partners, these sites are perfect for those users looking for someone who loves geek culture as much as they do.

Tracking Supply Chain Crisis in 2022

White House to launch a dashboard tracking supply chain crisis.

The White House website is rolling out a new Supply Chain Dashboard, to be updated every two weeks, that will track progress in easing the backlog of imported goods that has accompanied the economy’s recovery from coronavirus shutdowns. The dashboard comes as tangled supply chains have boosted the cost and limited the availability of everything from automobiles to clothing to toys.

What is Supply Chain Dashboard?

A Supply Chain Dashboard is a reporting tool used to track supply chain KPIs and metrics in a single display or interface. Supply chain dashboards track inventory levels, logistics management, and warehouse operations.

In order to ensure that your dashboards are as effective as possible, include these seven key features and functionalities:

1) Drawn from real-time data, delivering real-time analytics.

2) Customized for your business and the specific KPI’s driving the organization.

3) Self-service capability for “deep-dive” views.

4) Secure views based on user knowledge level and “need to know.”

5) Help drive decisions.

6) Shared views with outside vendors and suppliers.

7) Accessible via mobile devices.

As the COVID-19 pandemic brings companies to a standstill, the right technology can help capture reliable, up-to-date insights about maintaining supply during uncertain times.

All around the globe, this supplier crisis is creating a myriad of unexpected consequences. In Europe, crucial imports of essentials such as pasta are at risk as a growing number of port workers fall ill or take time off to care for quarantined family members. In the United States, transatlantic air freight costs for emergency personal protective equipment and medicines have surged as much as 1,400 percent amid a collapse in regular passenger flights. (About 60 percent of air freight is carried on passenger flights.) Retail giant Amazon recently sent out an urgent email to third-party sellers to detail their inventory risk and forecasts—suppliers that account for up to 60 percent of all of Amazon’s sales.

Tracking the supply chain crisis through a single product: iPhones

As the pandemic pushes Americans toward online shopping websites, consumption has increased dramatically — and supply chains can’t keep up.

Magento 1 vs Magento 2

What is the Reasons to Upgrade to Magento 2

Magento 1 will cease to be supported at the end of June 2020, so Magento store owners should make the tough call of whether they should continue operating their ecommerce websites on Magento 1 or upgrade to Magento 2.

Magento 2 was released to address many of the drawbacks, malfunctions, and bugs of Magento 1 and turned out to be a significant upgrade in terms of performance and usability compared to the former.

Magento 1 vs Magento 2: Key Differences

Magento 1 was originally developed as a flexible ecommerce solution. However, the platform lacked some vital features (performance optimization and mobile-friendliness) that were found on many rival ecommerce platforms. Therefore, many merchants were complaining about the slow performance of their Magento 1 stores leading to lost customers and decreased revenue.

Magento 2 has come to resolve all of the problems encountered in Magento 1. Moreover, Magento 2 includes even more benefits compared to Magento 1. Let’s highlight the top differences between Magento 1 vs Magento 2 features. Some of these key improvements  are:

  • Architecture

The Magento development team has modified the stack by adding different new technologies – Apache, NGINX, Varnish, Composer, Symfony, Redis, and more. The architecture now supports the PHP7 version, which essentially means even better chances for optimization and customization.

Magento 1 vs 2 technology stack:

Magento 1Magento 2
Apache 2.xApache 2.2./2.4.
 Nginx 1.7 or greater
PHP 5.2.x – 5.5.xPHP 5.6.x/ 7.0.2 / 7.0.6
MySQLMySQL/MySQL Percona 5.6.x or greater
Solr (Only for EE)Solr 4x

  • Performance

Once your business expands, you will get more traffic and require a solution to be able to cope with a large flow of visitors. If we’re talking about Magento 2 vs Magento 1 performance, Magento 2 is faster all around: on the product, category, and home pages. As mentioned above, many new technologies were added to Magento 2 that helped to optimize pages for fast delivery, reduce the server response time for site activities, and make backend operations more effective.

The average loading time is now below two seconds (50% faster than Magento 1), which means there is a much smaller probability that your customers will leave a website because of slow page loads. This is all possible due to full-page caching technologies such as Varnish and NGINX.

According to Benchmark Testing, now Magento 2 can operate around two million more page views and process up to 39% more orders hourly compared to Magento 1. Add to cart server response is now 66% faster, and an end-to-end checkout is also 51% faster.

Even though Magento 2 offers fast performance by default, it doesn’t mean that you don’t need to optimize your site speed. In general, slow interface and loading time issues are caused by a lack of knowledge in optimizing the website. Slow load times hurt crawl efficiency and lead to fewer pages being indexed, so make sure you do everything possible to speed up Magento 2.

  • Dashboard

The admin panel in Magento 2 is customer-friendly, easy in navigation and intuitive. Thus, you can find info effortlessly, navigate all elements of the admin panel smoothly, and operate your ecommerce store more effectively.

An advanced dashboard is what Magento 1 was missing. Magento 2 admin dashboard displays last, new, and average orders; lifetime retail sales, top search keywords; income tax, bestsellers; the number of products; and amount of shipping that helps to determine the progress of your ecommerce business. In addition, with Magento 2 you can create configurable products and customize data grids.

  • Security

Maintaining security is crucial when operating an ecommerce website. Magento 2 supports advanced built-in security options. One of them is SHA-256 (Secure Hash Algorithm 256) for passwords, which makes it less possible for a dictionary attack to succeed.

Magento 2 also comes with the fraud protection system Signifyd. Signifyd is embedded in the latest release of Magento 2,  allowing the platform to determine and reject orders that seem to be scams and deliver 100% chargeback protection. The cost of Signifyd depends on the number of orders your store processes.

The good thing is that if you’re running your store on Magento 1 and you’re worried about security protection, you can add security modules to your ecommerce website through extensions. The bad news is that there’s a bigger possible cybersecurity threat due to the fact that Magento will stop supporting security updates and patches in June 2020.

  • Extensions

With Magento 2, you can integrate and make modifications to new extensions less expensively and with no hassle. The process of installing extensions and updating features became simpler because of the new technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Require.js) integrated into Magento 2.

There are numerous third-party extensions available in the market for Magento 1. However, there could occur conflicts when two or more extensions attempt to rewrite the same functionality. Magento 2 introduced a change that enabled third-party plugins to overlap the core code, rather than overriding it.

  • Functionality

One of the major Magento 1 vs 2 functionality differences is the introduction of Ajax Add-To-Cart to Magento 2. In Magento 1, when a product is added to the cart, the system reloads the page, leading to deteriorated performance. With Magento 2, by adding Ajax Add-To-Cart, the new system doesn’t need to reload the page when a new product is added to the cart.

Checkout functionality has also been simplified and now it’s easy for customers to navigate. Magento 2 automatically recognizes inputted card types of registered customers. This feature is not available in Magento 1.

Magento 2 takes this further and also provides advanced reporting and marketing automation. Magento 2 offers crucial business metrics, allowing you to track 20 online store reports right from the admin panel.

When it comes to marketing, Magento 2 has introduced Dotmailer e-mail marketing automation. With Dotmailer, you can create automated marketing campaigns for Push, SMS, e-mail, and other channels.

Last but not least, one of the most important changes in Magento 2 is the dependency injection. In Magento 1 class files are often large, so it’s difficult to determine what their core functionality is. Magento 2 solved this problem with dependency injection, a design pattern that abstracts out the dependencies of a class to make the process quicker and easier. Dependency injection is an excellent way to diminish tight coupling between application codebase.

  • Support

The end of Magento 1 support is coming soon. At the end of June 2020, Magento will stop releasing and updating security patches and important fixes on their part. Evidently there will be no more innovations, new features or enhancements for Magento 1.

At the same time, Magento 2 has integrated new features like page builder, PWA (Progressive Web Applications) and is expected to realize even more functionality to deliver robust e-commerce solution with better speed, security, and performance.

  • SEO

When Magento 1 was launched in 2005, it lacked significant functionalities for SEO. Magento 2 has introduced many enhancements in search engine optimization. For instance, Schema.org is aimed to boost the search engine rankings of your store. Also, rich snippets on the Magento 2 catalog pages make your product data much easier to crawl by search engines.

  • Cost

This could be the only aspect where Magento 1 wins the battle, as the Magento 1 license is cheaper than Magento 2. With so many updates, new functionalities, and the latest features, it’s obvious why the Magento 2 license costs a pretty penny.

Community Editions: Magento 1 and Magento  2 are free of charge

Enterprise Editions:  Magento 1 EE license cost (starts at): $18,000 per year

Magento 2 EE license cost (starts at): $22,000 per year

How to Integrate Instagram API and Feed on PHP Website

Few can argue that Instagram is one of the most powerful and engaging social media platforms across the internet right now. It has more than 700 million monthly active users (MAUs) and about 400 million active users per day (DAUs). No surprise that many merchants and companies are already using Instagram as their primary sale or promotion channel.

Taking into account that 65% of customers are engaged in online shopping and social media, integrating Instagram may actually provide you a huge boost in sales and conversions. We’d like to share two most popular Instagram website integrations: social login and feed streaming and teach you how to integrate API into a website.

Login with Instagram Using PHP

It must be acknowledged that the shorter registration form – the higher conversion rates. Users are not willing to spend hours filling in long forms. The feature we’re going to integrate will allow your users to quickly login by using only their Instagram account password.

Moreover, by making this function available you still will be able to collect all valuable user data required for targeting, email newsletters, and analytical purposes.

Information that can be obtained through Instagram API:

  • User info
  • User feeds
  • User media
  • User likes
  • User follows
  • User follower
  • User Relationship
  • Search media
  • Get media
  • Popular media
  • Media likes
  • Media comments
  • Like media
  • Delete like media
  • Get location
  • Get location media
  • Search location

Step #1 Registering your Application

  • Login on www.instagram.com;
  • Go to the developer account https://www.instagram.com/developer/ ;
  • Click on “Register Your Application” button;
  • Register new client ID;
  • In “Website URL” field use your website address or localhost if you’re using it;
  • In “Redirect URL” field type location where the response will be handled (e.g. http://yourwebsite/yourprojectfolder/callback.php );
  • Go to Manage Clients tab. From here you can acquire your Client ID and Client Secret.

Step #2 User Flow

The principle of Instagram Authentication is quite simple. User clicks on “Login with Instagram” button. The request is redirected through Authorization URL to Instagram. It`s like magic.

Here’s the structure of Authorization URL:

In response, Instagram will provide you with the code in the following format:

Get this code from URL

Step #3 Access Token

Next, you’ll need an access token. In order to acquire it you’ll need to make an array with the following data:

  • Client ID.
  • Client Secret.
  • Redirect URL.
  • Grant Type.
  • Code from Step #2.
$url = "https://api.instagram.com/oauth/access_token";
$header = 0; // header = 0, because we do not have header
$data = array(
"client_id" => $client_id,
"client_secret" => $client_secret,
"redirect_uri" => $redirect_uri,
"grant_type" => "authorization_code",
"code" => $code

You can call it and pass this URL using CURL

Step #4 Getting User Information

Finally, after getting access_token you can call this URL https://api.instagram.com/v1/users/self/?access_token=$access_token) and get User Data.

Data you will acquire:

  • Full Name.
  • Website.
  • Bio.
  • Followers Count.
  • Following Count.
  • Profile Picture.

That’s it, and good luck.

Just kidding! Here is a folder with all files required for integration of Instagram Login on your website using PHP.

How to integrate Instagram feed to your website without API

Most tutorials on how to implement Instagram feed suggest to use Instagram API. And while there is nothing wrong with this method, there is an easier way without actually using this API.

The first thing we need to do is to get feed data from Instagram.

Here’s a code sample for this task:

$username = 'YourUserName';
$json = file_get_contents('https://www.instagram.com/'.$username.'/media/');
$instagram_feed_data = json_decode($json, true);

For the “name” field use your username as it shown in Instagram’s address line.

The string $instagram_feed_data = json_decode($json, true); indicate the data will be contained and decoded. The data will be decoded into the array.

Basically, in your array, the data about each post will be structured into [“items”]. Each item contains information about every single post including user info, images, the caption, likes, comments, etc.

This is the information we’ll gonna use. But first, you should check if there are any items in the array. Here’s how to make this:

if (isset($instagram_feed_data['items']))
foreach ($instagram_feed_data['items'] as $item) }

Next, you’ll need to get an actual post link and image URL. Keep in mind that the array contains image URLs in multiple formats: thumbnail, low_resolution, and standard_resolution. You may choose one of those formats depending on your needs.

In our case, we’ll be ok with low resolution.

$link = $item['link'];
$img_url = $item['images']['low_resolution']['url'];

In addition, you can take a caption. In case of Instagram posts there isn’t always a caption, so you’ll need to check whether it exists first.

$caption = isset($item['caption']) ? $item['caption']['text'] : '';

Now, when feed data is acquired we can stream to your webpage. Let’s start with the images by using image URLs. Since this URL is leading to an external web resource (Instagram), we’ll make the target blank. Then, list output of actual image and caption.

<a href="<?= $link; ?>" target="_blank" class="instagram-post">

<img src="<?= $img_url; ?>">
<div class="caption"><?= $caption; ?></div>

That’s it. All you need is to compose all these code strings into one script. Here’s it by the way.

if (isset($instagram_feed_data['items'])) {
    foreach ($instagram_feed_data['items'] as $item) {
        $link = $item['link'];
        $img_url = $item['images']['low_resolution']['url'];
        $caption = isset($item['caption']) ? $item['caption']['text'] : '';
        <a href="<?= $link; ?>" target="_blank" class="instagram-post">
            <img src="<?= $img_url; ?>">
            <div class="caption"><?= $caption; ?></div>

Use this simple script that will get images, caption and links from the Instagram feed with no API. With little CSS magic, you can turn this data into such a good-looking web page.

Hope you found what you looked for.

Custom website development: definition, benefits, and costs

Do you have a website and are thinking about redesigning it, or are you or your business not yet online but want to fix it? Then you should pay attention to custom website development services. We have collected the basic information that will allow you to learn everything about custom web development.

What is custom website development?

A custom site is a website that is made exclusively for your business or personal needs and goals. It is a fully personalized solution with very specific features that fit your business strategy and communications. A custom site can be a landing page, an online store, a web portal, or any other, it all depends on the requirements of the owner.

One option for creating a custom site would be to use a CMS such as WordPress. This approach is a bit easier than full custom web development, but it does require technical web development skills to offer a unique template and specific features. Another way to create a website is full development, which includes back-end and front-end steps.

Why create a custom website?

The benefits of a custom website are endless for your business. Indeed, here are some of the real benefits that a fully personalized website can bring your business:

Strong design and clear brand image

One of the main advantages of a custom website is the design. Indeed, here you are not limited in terms of graphics, unlike a CMS, or you have to choose a common template and fiddle around to get it set up. Whether it’s your menu, the shapes you use, your animations, your colors, your buttons, or your footer, you’re completely free to design all of your elements.

Therefore, if you have a graphic charter that is already well established for your business, you will be able to transcribe it perfectly on your website. If you don’t already have one, now is the time to create one with your custom website.

By having a unique visual identity that suits you perfectly, you will be able to make your site unique and effectively stand up to your competitors. As a result, your brand image will be better, and you will be able to reach as many of your potential customers as possible. Indeed, many of your potential customers get a sense of your brand from just the look and feel of your website.

User interface (UI)

With a custom website, you will be able to give an effective user experience to your visitors. Indeed, several points can be optimized with a personalized site:

You have the option to host pop-ups, buttons, or completely custom forms. As a result, you will create an interface that will please your users. In addition, the possibilities for creating an interface when creating a custom website are extensive: almost any specific idea you have in terms of your website appearance can be brought to life thanks to custom website development.

For example, knowing that more and more users are browsing the web thanks to their phones, creating a responsive site that adapts to all screen formats is now essential. By creating a custom website with the help of the Digiteum team, you can get the perfect responsive design. With optimized CSS, HTML, and PHP code, your pages will be technically and visually optimized on phones and tablets.

Download speed

Page loading speed is also a point to consider when developing a custom site. Such a site allows you to perfectly control the loading speed of your entire site. Indeed, you will have access to all technical options:

  • Image sizes;
  • Server in use;
  • Web hosting;
  • Pagination;
  • CSS and JS code;
  • Optimized download tool based on user geographic location.

Best SEO

It goes without saying that if you’re building a custom site, it’s for creating quality content. And quality is an important factor in your website’s SEO.

By developing a website, you will be able to create a code and structure that strives for perfection. If your titles, subtitles, various tags, descriptions, meta descriptions, etc. are optimized, Google will consider your site worthy of proper positioning in search engines.

In addition, Google is optimized to highlight sites with a properly organized HTML structure. Therefore, with a perfectly matched site, you can implement tags in connection with structured data. For example, FAQs, guides, etc.

Analysis of results

With a custom website, you will be able to analyze your site’s statistics very effectively and act on those statistics. For example, if you have an e-commerce site, you will be able to test different types of sales pages with different designs or different calls to action, for example. By doing this, you will be able to determine what works best in your marketing and in the design of your pages.

How long does it take to create a custom website?

Now that you know the main benefits you will get by using custom website development services from Digiteum, you must be wondering how long the development will take. This concept of duration can be very variable. This will, of course, depend on the complexity of your project, the resources you allocate to it, and the methodology used to develop your site. A growth-driven, agile-inspired, and data-driven design approach has the undeniable advantage of increasing your project’s chances of success.

How much does it cost to create a custom website?

The concept of value also varies greatly. The price of a website depends on many factors: the number of pages, technical specifications, type of agency, design method, design, options, content, and many other elements. Therefore, companies that develop websites have a wide range of tariff offers. Each such offer will be unique for each client because it will be based on individual desires.

As you can see, creating a custom site is quite a capacious process, but the benefits from it at times cover this investment of time and money. And now we can be sure that if you want to start your business on the Internet, then you need a custom website. This will allow you to learn much more about your market in addition to developing your image and your clientele.

How Interac Became The Most Popular Payment Method in Canadian Casinos

Although online casino gambling had been legalised in Canada, there was a major problem with how Canadians transferred their real money into an online casino platform just so they could enjoy their favourite casino game. While are legal issues that come with casino banking in Canada, the advent of Interac partnering up with Gigadat Solutions Inc, solved most of those issues. This pivoted Interac online and e-transfer to the peak of popularity in the country and it became the standard of online casino payments for the average Canuck.

The Canadian province of Ontario today (4 April) officially launched its legal and regulated online gambling market.

The Canadians could only play online casino games and gamble at sportsbooks with their credit cards. MasterCard and Visa partnered up with banks across the world to put an end to this type of transaction, and so the search for other methods of payment for Canadian gamblers returned. Skrill and Neteller emerged as the possible best for the Canucks in their search.

Legal Issues Hindering Online Casino Payment Processors

Back in September 2006, the US Senate released a bill that made online gambling illegal in the United States, this transformed into Neteller being charged by the government for “illegally” processing online gaming transactions and ESI. This also led to a Canadian payments provider being charged, then it became the chain of events that led to several legal problems arising in the industry.

Although no bill was passed in Canada to make online gambling illegal, the lack of response was left open to interpretations. The online casinos operating in Canada can only be given licenses by the provincial governments. Because foreign companies cannot be prosecuted under the Canadian Criminal Code except the companies that have a physical presence in the country, Neteller and Skrill, which both have a physical presence in Canada, decided to not run the risk of operating in the country and thus packed their bags.

Arrival of New Canadian Casino Banking Methods

Over the last decade, several payment providers came and left the online casino banking range. EcoPayz, iDebit, and Instadebit are the latest e-wallet companies to enter that market, while PayPal never concerned themselves with the industry at all. Paysafe, Neosurf and Flexepin also emerged in the market as they were accepted by most online casinos operating in Canada. However, they can only be used to deposit cash into their casino account, if they wish to withdraw they will have to choose another method to achieve that aim, which in most cases is usually the ancient bank wire or cheque in the mail.

How Interac Online Became Popular

Online casino banking or not, Interac is the most widely used payment processor in Canada. All Canadians that have a bank account probably know of Interac e-Transfer, as the payment processor has partnered with almost every major bank and credit union across the country, and they all offer Interac Online.

LeoVegas was the first INTERAC online casino in Canada to start offering Interac Online as a deposit method to Canadian gamblers. That was just three years ago. Currently, almost all top-class online casinos in Canada is now offering Interac as a mode of payment. Gigadat Solutions Inc’s partnership with Interac made this possible, as it is responsible for connecting Canadian banks with merchants.

Interac Online & E-Transfer

Using Interac as a payment method in online casinos became so popular due to its ease of use. However, there are two main online casino types, Interac Online and e-Transfer. Interac Online is popularly known to be a direct banking method that lets you transfer cash directly to your casino account with the aid of Gigadat as the third-party processor that will link the two parties together. While e-Transfer is a type of payment that is processed by a financial institution. Gigadat is still responsible for processing the information needed to complete the transaction.

While both types can be used for deposits, only e-Transfer can be used for withdrawals. Interac e-Transfer is available at every bank and credit union running in Canada, and it also takes more time to process deposits while Interac Online are instant when it comes to deposits.

Interac is an online payment solution that is based in Canada, so this won’t stop being a payment method for Canadians in online casinos unless it is regulated by the Canadian government. Interac will be Canadians’ stable, secure and fast casino payment method for a long time.
