Thank You Coronavirus Helpers

Thank You Coronavirus Helpers

Many people are suffering from an ongoing cough and fever caused by the coronavirus. Coronaviruses are typically spread through contact with someone who has it, or touching something they have coughed or sneezed on. Luckily, there are a few things you can do to avoid getting sick, and provide much-needed assistance to those who have been diagnosed.

It’s not always easy to thank all the people who give of themselves during an emergency; in the case of COVID-19, it includes not just doctors and health care workers but also gas station owners, truck drivers, grocery store owners and more.

Mister Rogers says: “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’”

These challenging times require the commitment and skill of everyone. Folks like first responders, farmers, mail carriers, grocery store employees, pharmacists, factory workers, health care providers and service providers make all our lives easier. That’s why it’s important that we support them with our time or money to keep their communities going strong. Our safety, our health, our information and the ability to lead normal lives are all dependent on the work of people like you.

It’s a great day to thank our writers and let them know how much they mean to us!
